This a wonderfully expressive Lambrusco. It has a rich dark color and is full of dark fruit. It is however refreshingly crisp and has a beautiful mineral driven finish. This would be excellent with a cheese board and charcuterie.

Golden yellow color with amber reflections; apricot and almond aromas and dense, sweet flavors with good persistence and a good harmony between sweetness and acidity. Grapes are hung to dry from the rafters of a well-ventilated loft until January. Once dried, the grapes are pressed and the juice left to ferment slowly in new oak barrels for 3-5 years.

This a beautiful bottle of wine. Dried cranberries and strawberries, fresh Bing cherries, dried tobacco leaf, and hints of leather, wet earth, violet, and smoke. Ample acidity, but tannins have begun to mellow and integrate into the wine. Grown on sandy hillsides. Average vine age 80 years. . Farming: no herbicide, no insecticide or anti-botrytis agent, only anti-mildew and anti-oidium. Managing yield via manual debudding and green harvesting. Under AB conversion since 2011. Aged in old foudres for 3-18 months depending on the year, then transferred to stainless steel tanks.

Generous aromas of mixed red berry, orange blossom, and white peach. Its fruitful nose is complemented by notes of strawberry cream pie and brioche. On the palate, there are bursts of raspberry sorbet, lemon custard, and summer apricot. The wine has a fresh, juicy acidity which drives to a bright, vibrant finish.
