|Talisker 10-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch||Isle of Skye, Scotland|
Talisker is the only distillery on the Isle of Skye, and this expression is a great pour. It is peaty but not a peat monster like some of its brethren (i.e. Ardbeg) and while it is generally the youngest of Talisker's offerings, it is probably the most representative of what the distillery has to offer: a brilliant balance of smoke, saltiness, and slight sweetness.
|Glenlivet 12-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch||Speyside, Scotland|
One of the most famous malts in the world. Glenlivet 12yo has a soft, smooth balance of sweet summer fruits and the floral notes of spring flowers. It's easy to see why this easy sipper has such a huge following.
|Glenfiddich 12-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch||Speyside, Scotland|
This classic Speyside from Glenfiddich was the winner of a gold medal at the 2007 International Wine and Spirit Competition, aged for 12 years in American and European Oak casks. Smooth, light and floral with a touch of oak, this is a classic, consistent example of the region's style.
|Glenkinchie 12-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch||Lowlands, Scotland|
The flagship expression from the Glenkinchie distillery, one of the stalwarts of the Lowlands. Glenkinchie 12 Year Old shows off the characteristic lightness and grassy elements that Lowland whiskies are known for, with nods to cooked fruit and Sauternes wine along the way. Brilliant single malt to enjoy as an aperitif on a warm evening. - Master of Malt
|Templeton 4-Year-Old Rye||Iowa|
An unmistakable rye whiskey, Templeton Rye is smooth and spicy with a clean finish. It opens with a dry, grassy aroma with natural spice, and the palate offers a hint of caramel, butterscotch, toffee and allspice. The finish is balanced and smooth. A nice cocktail rye for sure.
