This is a clear, pale salmon color wine, a pretty rosé. Delicate red-berry fruit aromas, fresh, subtle raspberries and strawberries, lead into a flavor of tart red berries, very dry, snappy acidity and a crisp, minerally “rainwater” quality in a crisp flavor that adds a touch of Meyer lemon as it lasts and lasts. Made from 100% Pinot Noir at a rational 12.5% alcohol.

Single handedly changed my opinion of 2013 as a vintage for red burgundy. Fantastic integration, and this meatiness and peppery quality that is really intriguing. Fantastic.

The clusters are left whole & started by carbonic maceration, which lends its distinctive high tone appeal but eventually crushed by foot & finished whole cluster for skin contact and extraction. Pressed to neutral barrique for a short 6 month elevage & bottled young to preserve delicate aromatics. Wild strawberry and summer herbs with cranberry tartness. Light, fresh and utterly charming.

Great texture, ripe fruit and spice flavors. The must was tank fermented, aged for eights months on the lees and lightly filtered before bottling by gravity. This Pinot gris complements rich white meat and pasta dishes, salmon, grilled vegetables, and is especially good with spicy (Thai, Vietnamese) foods.

It has a beautiful red hue with fair hints as well as a fresh and delicate aroma, reminiscent of spices and nuts, acquired during the ageing in oak wood. In the mouth it is an elegant wine that shows a fine balance between mature tannins and sweetness, providing it with an attractive, long finish.
