Aged 6 month in clay amphora. Clean, elegant and textured. Very unique wine. Nascetta produces wines that are assertively perfumed with Muscat-like floral qualities that lead to riper, tropical fruit aromas. It also has a fresh palate, with crisp apple flavors and citrus and honey notes.

Accentuated, bright ruby red colour accompanied by a bouquet with a nicely vinous and intense finesse, featuring pleasant scents of cherry and fruits of the forest. The palate is full of body, with a pleasant and lingering finish.

This is a gorgeous Sauvignon Blanc, which delivers vivid aromas of lime, Asian pear, lychee, tropical fruit and white flowers. a vibrant light peach color. On the nose are spicy aromatics of nectarine, grapefruit pith, yellow raspberry, and crushed rock. The mouth is bright with flavors of raspberry and watermelon, with mouthwatering acidity giving focus to a long finish with flavors of lemon drop, sea spray, and a little rose petal florality.

The wine is quite aromatic and jumps out of your glass with the classic Provence tug of war between wild red fruit berries as if you just picked them along a path to the beach, floral notes of lavender and rose petal and underlying savory herbes de Provence. It is beautifully crisp and flavorful on the palate with medium body and notes of red berries, bing cherrie & spice.

Massican’s varietal Sauvignon Blanc is lean, as always. It’s pale, and its fragrance suggests earthy yellow citrus fruits, grass, light flowers. The midsection and finish are lemon-limey, quite sharp. This is not a tropical wine, not fruity (although there is fruit). Mostly there is acid and a spare, silvan, moonlight through birch trees luminance.

This 100% estate Pais is from a 200 year old single vineyard in the Maule region. Sweet notes of plum, almonds, anise, and brown sugar on the nose with hints of pineapple sage, pine nettles, and and brown sugar lead to a smooth, nicely balanced palate. This wine has a wild almost salve quality.

Pretty scents of rosewater, raspberries and cherries introduce this light and pleasing wine. It carries some of the charm of a good strawberry soda, with forward fruit and a delicate frame. That said, it is not just a simple fruity wine, and gains weight and complexity as it breathes. Give it time to show you all it has.

A terrific bottle from one of the best Côte-Rôtie producers. Deep, pure, and still bright and vibrant on both the nose and palate. The bouquet is a fine and youthful blend of black raspberries, grilled meat, dark soil tones, pepper and a bit of lavender in the upper register. It has to be one of the great bargains in Rhône and probably the world. Only 6 cases come to Colorado.
