As this was the first wine Stefano produced, he decided to name it “Prologo.” Prologo is Italian for "prologue and this wine was exactly that - an experiment and a prologue to a dream of theirs, to grow grapes and produce wine.Prologo is 100% Montepulciano that ferments in concrete and stays in big oak barrels for 18 months.

Aromas of roasted red cherry, sharp black raspberry and herb-tinged smoked pork in mulberry sauce make for a mouthwatering entry to this bottling. The oak is strong on the palate, giving a vanilla overlay to the cranberry and rose petal flavors. A hint of juniper shows on the finish.

The essence of this superb LBV is the fine red berry and stone fruit character, wonderfully fresh and vibrant, which bursts immediately from the glass. Raspberry, cherry and red plum, subtly infused with richer notes of blackcurrant and licorice, dominate the nose and palate. LBVs are a substantial jump in quality from Ruby's, but don't need the cellar-aging of a Vintage port. A perfect middle ground!

Aromas of raspberry and tangerine with a mineral finish. Well-balanced with fresh acidity and great texture. Try with oysters, fresh goat cheese, roasted peppers, and grilled chicken.

The color is pale pink fuchsia, very bright. The nose is frank, lively, expressive, on white flowers and citrus fruits (pink grapefruit). The palate is fresh and the gooseberry meets again the grapefruit. A wine of great freshness and easy pleasure!

Earthy and doughy aromas lead to subtle, crisp apple and bright lemon flavors in this very good, go-to wine that has lasting fine-beaded bubbles. It tastes dry and refreshing and feels crisp and lively on the palate.

One of the original Vin Gris, Noble Joue is an appellation dedicated to the blend of two red and one white grape. This rose shows the appellation at its highest potential. Pale coppery, orange and pink in color, with qualities of rose petal, lemon zest, pink currant, young raspberry, white peach and spice in a lively, crisp, refreshing style.

The Vinet family farms one hectare of old vines, over 60 years in age, and seven hectares of 25- to 35-year old vines. Whole cluster pressing. The wine rests sur lie for 8 months on the fine lees. Golden yellow color, fruity nose with a good balance between freshness and liveliness. Oysters, shellfish, Muscadet...no-brainer.

Succulent dark cherry, tobacco, cedar, dried herbs and olives add character. This is a decidedly bold, fruit-driven style, yet the wine retains a mid-weight sense of structure as well as good acidity. Today, though, the tannins are a bit clenched. The 2016 will be an absolute rock star if it opens up a bit more.
