Dark red, with a purple border. The nose is rich, pure, and complex, with notes of black fruits and sweet spices. On the palate, lots of roundness, with soft refined tannins. Finish is long, with notes of black cherry, black berry, and a silky texture. A wine with great cellaring potential and with an impressive aromatic expression.

Jean-Marc Burgaud Morgon Cote du Py 202126.99Beaujolais, France100% Gamay

This wine is excellent, offering up aromas of cherries, plums and berries mingled with notions of peony, burning embers and sweet spices. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, it's seamless and succulent, with melting tannins, lively acids and a long, precise finish.

Giardino IGT Campania Aglianico La Fole 201329.99Campania, ItalyAglianico

Le Fole is obtained from grapes that have never known systemic treatments. Vinified with very little sulfur, fermented with indigenous yeasts, and aged for six months in large Slavonian oak barrels, and six months in steel. The palate shows red and black fruit, spices, black pepper, basil and rosemary with a nice balance between structure and freshness.

Forty Ounce Rose19.99Loire Valley, France53% Gamay 33% Merlot 10% Cabernet Franc 4% Pineau d’Aunis

The rosé is fairly fruit forward for the style, with a pronounced strawberry essence and touch of sweetness. This rosé won’t exactly rock your world, but in the grand scheme of things, we’ll take it any day over Olde English 800. But, if you are going to chug it straight from the bottle, ask for a brown bag...

2017 Conundrum Rose21.99California100% Valdigue

Conundrum Rosé led us to push into new territory. We make this wine from only one variety, Valdigué, which remains largely unknown and grows only in small quantities in California. Our goal was to create a Rosé that is uniquely bright and fresh, with more character than people typically expect. Fruity but not at all sweet, with scents watermelon and fresh Wild strawberries.

2013 Sixto Chardonnay “Frenchman Hills”45.99Columbia Valley, Washington

Seeing 15 months in roughly 20% new puncheons, the 2013 Chardonnay Frenchman Hills Vineyard is absolutely smokin’ Chardonnay that needs to be tasted to be believed. It offers fresh, lively and juicy notes of orchard fruits, citrus blossom, mineral, crème and sappy green herbs to go with a medium to full-bodied, elegant, beautifully layered style on the palate.

2013 B Leighton Petite Verdot59.99Yakima Valley, Washington100% Petite Verdot

The finest wine yet from this estate is the 2013 Petit Verdot Olsen Vineyard, which saw 22 months in 40% new barrels. Its saturated, inky purple color is flowed by a perfumed, layered and never heavy wine that offers full-bodied richness, beautiful blueberry, blackberry, peppery herbs, and gravel aromas and flavors; it has a killer finish. It should keep for 15+ years.

2017 Ridge Geyserville46.99Alexander Valley & Sonoma County, CA68% Zinfandel, 18% Carignane, 12% Petite Sirah, 2% Alicante Bouschet

Bright, lifted and decidedly medium in body. The flavors are distinctly red toned and the acids are bright. Sweet red cherry, red plum, mint and floral notes add nuance, but it is the wine’s overall energy that really makes an impression. Even at this early stage, the 2016 Geyserville is a knock-out.

Pierre Paillard Les Parcelles32.99Champagne, France60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay

Spicy orange zest and honeydew on the fragrant, mineral-accented nose. Dry and tightly focused, offering lively Meyer lemon and melon flavors and a deeper suggestion of nectarine. Finishes with building floral character and excellent tangy persistence, leaving bitter citrus zest and dusty mineral notes behind.

2017 Gobelsburg Cistercien17.99Osterreich, AustriaZweigelt & St. Laurent

Loads of fruit show on the nose of this wine: green and red apple, strawberry and ample, zesty citrus. The palate is taut, fresh, dry and precise, shot through with appetizing fruity flavors. A wonderful, flavorsome rosé, with or without food.

2016 Sohn & Kracher21.99Austria100% Gruner Veltliner

Pure notes of fresh apple and pear peel are appetizing on the nose, with a touch of spicy tangerine peel. The palate amplifies these expressive fruit notes. Ripeness of fruit and concentration characterize the midpalate that also shimmers with white pepper. The finish is long and intense, again with that lovely tangerine pith.

2016 Pascal jolivet 375ml18.99Sancerre, Loire valley100% Sauv Blanc

The 2016 Pascal Jolivet Sancerre is fresh, clean and screaming with racy acidity. On the palate it is fresh and tightly wound; acidity is tempered by very subtle residual sugar; very clean; alive, racy, youthful. Overall, a dry and elegant wine.

2013 Seghesio Barbera D'Alba29.99Alba, Piedmont100% Barbera

60 years-old . In the vineyard, he prunes his Barbera severely to restrain his yields. The Barbera lights-up with a raspberry candy color and potent leathery cherry fruit… cardamon-clove spice and polished tannins all the way.

Château Mira Luna Coteaux Varois en Provence Rose24.99Syrah - Cinsault

Mira Luna was formerly part of the historic Miraval estate, but Tom Bove retained its 17 acres of vines when Miraval sold. It's pretty much the best rose we carry. Differentiated and delicious.
