Coming from the la Clape region of the Languedoc (which is one of the most beautiful spots in the Languedoc) and offering lots of tobacco leaf, blackcurrants, chocolate and spice, the smokin’ good 2015 Languedoc Cap Insula is medium to full-bodied, nicely concentrated and textured, with a core of sweet fruit.

Crémant Thomas Jefferson Rosé boasts a beautiful, salmon-pink robe with glimmering reflections. Delicate bubbles and an extraordinary vivacity on the palate, with a rich, indulgent texture. A complex bouquet with long-lasting aromas of red fruit (strawberry and raspberry), backed with hints of toasted bread.

Sancerre Tradition is intended as a classic expression of the appellation with aromas and flavors of citrus, fresh herbs, and elderflower. The wine’s medium weight and texture are lifted by firm acidity. Components of flint and limestone lend a strong mineral character to the finish, making it an appetizing wine for the table.

A delicious and (again) perfectly balanced Riesling; glorious fragrance, talc and golden-delicious apples; I don’t remember a better edition of this wine; it’s the perfect classic not-hardly-sweet Kabinett. “Great drinkyness,” as Caroline says. Stretched taut but neither austere nor lean.

This wine is pleasurable upon release, but can also be aged for greater complexity. This medium-bodied wine is packed with fruit that is richly complex and smooth. Its tannins, acidity and cherry soul are unmistakably Tuscan with the added character of fresh cassis, blackberries and minerality characteristic of Bordeaux.

Certified organic and powered entirely by renewable energy, the estate is a testament to both tradition and innovation. The wines here are made very naturally and with a light touch. Grown from 100% estate Nero d'Avola, the wine is produced in a vivid, bright style, contrasting with the heavier Neros produced from inland vineyards in most of the rest of Sicily.

Natural wine at it's weirdest and most intriguing. Kept upside down because of cloudy sediment. Though, it can be opened and drank normally, you can also open in underwater, quickly tipping the bottle up to disgorge the sediment. Delicate flavor of wild fruit and rainier cherry with seashell mineral tones and savory spice. Pair with earthy dishes like sauteed mushrooms.

Thanks to the summer sun and the favorable climate, never too hot, in September the bunches had reached a perfect ripeness and on the sorting belt they arrived beautiful, juicy and healthy. The vintage, therefore, although characterized by a reduction in production, promises very elegant wines, with delicate aromas, minerals and remarkable freshness.

Earthy aromas of underbrush, truffle, wild berry, blue flower and a whiff of new leather emerge on this stunning wine. The succulent, full-bodied palate shows ripe raspberry, black cherry, licorice, clove and grilled herb alongside firm but velvety tannins.

Tight and focused on the nose with clean red berries and oak. Expands a little on the medium-to full-bodied palate, but still rather closed, with an elegant framework of very fine, lightly firm tannin and a dense core of fruit. The balance of fruit and tannin already gives a long finish. Needs to unravel a bit, but the essential ingredients are very fine indeed.

Petillant is a vi d’agulla, the Catalan name for prickly wine. This vibrant and refreshing wine is the traditional summertime quaffer of the Penedès region of Catalonia, and it's perfect for drinking out of a porrón.

An subtle nose with plenty of fine autolysis aromas of fresh bread and sweetly fragrant yeasty notes, plus some gentle spice and chalky notes. The palate unleashes beautiful wild strawberry fruit flavors, super fresh, fleshy and pure. Great balance and depth.

The domaine owns 8.30 hectares principally in the villages of Morey Saint Denis, Gevrey Chambertin and Chambolle Musigny. This charming white is sourced from a .60 hectare parcel in Gevrey. The vines were planted in 1943. There are a few (15%) inter-planted Chardonnay vines in the mix that contribute roundness and depth.
