The “Grand Chaliot” lieu-dit is situated just south of Nuits-Saint-Georges. Given its proximity to Nuits-Saint-Georges, this wine possesses a seriousness and mineral depth rare for a Bourgogne, particularly impressive in its amplitude and intensity. A mere 10% new oak allows the energetic and spice-tinged flavors to shine through unimpeded.

The white is fermented in small foudres and is then racked into barriques and left on the lees for one year. As it does not undergo malolactic fermentation (thanks to the very cool cellars of this historic chateau) the wine also exhibits great natural acidity. A bright greenish yellow color with golden highlights. A uniquely fruity aroma where the variety is clearly appreciated, highlighting hints of ripe apples, apricots, and peach aromas. It is rich, mellow and well-balanced. The aftertaste is fully rounded and off dry on the palate with juicy fruit flavors, clean acidity and a long, mineral-dominated finish.

Bright, pure and focused, especially within the context of the year - capturing a compelling interplay of freshness and textural richness. Lemon peel, white flowers, white orchard fruit and mint give the wine its lifted personality, but there is plenty of palate weight and depth. This is a classy, super-polished Chardonnay.

Rose potpourri, leather, and cocoa layer in the glass to delicately compliment beautiful aromas of plum, fresh blueberry and savory spice. Dry herbs and a hint of fresh olive give this wine depth and complexity. This wonderfully balanced wine accents the timeless companionship of these two Bordeaux varieties.

CHILL SLIGHTLY! Grapes are hand harvested and fermented whole cluster at low temperature in fiberglass tanks for about 15 days. No pigeage or pumping over is performed. The wine is aged in 7-year-old 228-liter barrels for about 7 months, bottled with 1 milligram of sulfur per hectoliter and is unfiltered and unfined.

Nose is rather discrete for Sauvignon Blanc, but beautifully floral complex and mature. Dry, with ripe and vibrant acidities and texture. The palate is persistent, diverse, offering honey, gentle oak and floral notes. Certainly not a mainstream Sauvignon Blanc, but one that is opening new horizons for this much bellowed variety.

Somm Guru Raj Parr called these "the greatest non grape sparkling in the world" and we come pretty close to agreeing. This is top notch stuff. Wild, funky and different enough to satisfy any cider geek, but also delicate, refined and beautiful. Don't let Demi Sec scare you. These come across pretty clean and dry. Worth trying.

It is barrel fermented with native yeast in French oak barrels and barrel aged sur lie for 4 months. This cider is re-fermented in the bottle to add carbonation so it will likely be a bit cloudy. It is very bright, showing aromas of bubble gum, banana runts, and apples. It is light, clean, tart, dry and sparkling.

This rugged yet elegant wine leads with herbal expressive aromas laced with Pomegranate and stony minerals. Powdery tannins frame flavors of cherry, currant, savory spice and red pepper.

A rosé of the southern Italian grape Aglianico from Irpinia, hand picked, de-stemmed, and treated to a 12-hour maceration. The wine aged for four months in stainless steel prior to release. The result is a medium salmon color with a peppery, flowery, saline aspect.

Deep and saturated with a core of blueberries, black plum, black cherry, lavendar and pepper spice, this wine displays extraordinary elegance and finesse for which our Petite Sirahs are known. The generous black plum and black cherry flavors are prominent on the palate, yet backed up with delicate cinnamon , clove and cedar spice notes fro the oak aging.
