Like the other Conundrum wines that preceded it, our Rosé is all about exploring premier vineyard sites throughout California. This wine is a blend made from grapes grown in cooler, coastal parts of Monterey, as well as the warmer region of Suisun Valley, a little-known but exceptional wine region only 40 minutes from Napa Valley. On the palate it is refreshing and structured and with some meat, smoke. licorice and black olives - but mostly it's about ripe fruit all of kinds at this stage: blueberries, blackberries, red berries. I think this will turn out spectacularly well for those who wait a couple of years. Right now almost a little too intense on its own - needs food. Stood up to some chipotle spice
