Violet, scorched soil, spice and mature berry aromas lead the nose. The medium-bodied, elegant palate delivers mature black cherry, crushed raspberry, freshly ground clove and black pepper. Firm but fine-grained tannins provide support. This is a great value with a little bit of bottle age. Drinking beautifully.

Aromas of yellow stone fruit and Spanish broom lead the nose while the juicy palate offers mature yellow peach, citrus, pineapple and a hint of almond. Bright acidity provides balance and a crisp finish.

A far cry from the thin and pale style of Barberas from the 70’s and 80’s, this red from Grasso delivers the goods ! Rich and quite structured, this lovely Barbera displays good extract and some aging potential (2 to 4 years). Field berry scents enhanced by a touch of vanilla. Medium bodied with good length, it should be perfect with Italian sausage and grilled pepper pasta.

This amazing wine comes from a vineyard slowly dying to phyloxera. This disease devigorate the vines creating intensely low yields, and powerfully expressive flavors in the finished wine. All of this at barely 12%, which proves that Hirsch is making some of the most otherworldly wine in the world.

Made from the highest elevation vineyards at Hirsch, the Raschen Ridge is where our marine, riverine and continental climates meet, merging heat & coolness, moisture and dryness, uplift and erosion. The wine is itself an exercise in resolved opposites: sexy and serious, drinkable and age-worthy, for both the hedonist and the collector.

Fresh and inviting in a strawberry aroma, the palate brings ripe red-fruit and vanilla flavors to the mix. This is a medium-bodied, softly textured wine.

This hand harvested, single vineyard, is a blend that Rafael Tirado planted himself in the front range of the Chilean Andes. He planted these first estate vines in 1993 on volcanic ash over granit in various orientations,some of which are in the shape of a labyrinth. Full-bodied w/ lavish ripe black cherries, blackberries, blueberry & cassis.Hints of eucalyptus and violets.

This SB has a bright nose with Guava, passion fruit, and lemon leading to a mineral mid palate and soft undertones of crushed rock. The volcanic ash from the vineyard adds to this minerality and sustained finish. The Sauvignon Blanc is fermented in 100% stainless steel which leads to a very juicy and refreshing wine.

This gently fortified wine is made entirely from the Muscat de Frontignan a Petits Grains, which has been matured in old barriques. Apricot, peach, Seville orange and ripe pear come to mind when sampling this exemplary dessert wine
