The 2016 Pinot Noir La Rinconada Vineyard is the most elegant and refined of the 2016 Pinots at Tyler. The Rinconada was done with fully destemmed fruit. In this tasting, it is a total knock-out.

It is a reserve blend that represents our vision of Willamette Valley Chardonnay. This wine leads with beautiful aromas of nectarine, yellow peach, white flowers and a touch of nuttiness. The palate has great balance with a strong sense of minerality and a long graceful finish. Our Chardonnay is blended from the best Chardonnay sites Freedom Hill, X Novo, Seven Springs.

Dubay is a tiny 4-acre, 23 year old vineyard tucked into a steep fault on the north end of the Eola-Amity Hills. Dramatictectonic shifts that occurred here formed the bedrock of ancient marine soils overlaid with 4 feet of rocky clays. The wine has ruminating, intense purple floral and brambly berry aromas, with a layer of savory meatiness layeredunder the fruit overture.

Originally planted in 1983, Seven Springs sits on the east slope of the Eola-Amity Hills and is widely considered one of the iconic vineyards of the Willamette Valley. This wine has classic Seven Springs characteristics through and through: pure and elegant aromas, layered with subtle purple flowers, huckleberry and cassis. The palate has great tension, full of wild fruit.

A Syrah blend that delivers an intense combo of ripe, dark fruit with a long, smooth finish. This is a wine that can hold its own but is also a most welcome addition to a variety of foods.

The delicate nose exudes peach and wild flowers. Minerality comes into play after the first verse with a chorus of Asian pear, chamomile, and apricot. This 100% Pinot Gris goes even more floral on mid-palate with a bloom of lilacs and peach blossom traveling to the beat of zesty drum.

The Bourgogne Chardonnay is a blend of various grapes coming mainly from Côte d'Or and Mâconnais. Part of this cuvée is aged in oak barrels and part of it in stainless steel tanks. The result is a combination of freshness, fruitiness and structure and nice body. Aged on lees, beautiful balanced and extremely drinkable.

Salmon pink in the glass, this concentrated yet spry rosé suggest tart raspberry and cherry flavors with delicate hints of rose petal and bramble. It's still quite fresh a year after bottling and should drink well through the end of 2019.

Sansa is a Japanese apple developed by crossing Gala with another great Japanese apple, Akane. The cider boasts rich apple character, depth of flavor and full mouthfeel, with a lasting finish and a beautiful persistent acidity.

TWO THOUSAND AND NINE VINTAGE! Yes, this wine is a decade old. Muscadet is one of those rare wine white wines that is not only capable of aging decades, but actually improves. There's a lovely richness here that comes from the age, but the wine is still mineral driven and bone dry. Also, there's a touch of a funky cheese rind quality which is fascinating. The exact vineyard is secret (hence the name), but it's from the overlooked west facing parcels which are much cooler, producing a wine of piercing acidity and subtle richness. Truly and awesome wine.
