Cuentacuentos curates small-batch traditional mezcals and destilados de agave from producers across the state of Oaxaca. Cuentacuentos released its first 6 mezcal expressions in 2018. Made by Maestro Mezcalero Everardo Garcia Salvador in his small palanque this Mezcal lightens the sweetness of Agave Tobala and Espadin, leaving notes of sweet tobacco, flowers and green apple.

A lovely wine from one of Chassagne’s best growers.

From the grandson of Sassicia comes this amazing Biodynamic Patagonian Pinot Noir from old, head pruned vines in Rio Negro. Beautiful, inspired and nuanced, this Pinot can stand with the best of them. Truly an eye opener for the potential of Patagonia.

Vivacious red in color with violet sparkles. This wine offers aromas of plum jam and raisin combined with pipe tobacco, vanilla and toasted notes. On the palate, it is well-balanced and fruity with sweet and soft tannins, as well as plum and chocolate notes. Pleasant finish.

Tuscan wines, despite their fame, are often produced industrially with plenty of sulfur, additives, mechanical harvesting & so on. Not the case here. Instead, this is made naturally, farmed organically & biodynamically without chemicals. Full-bodied, richly complex and smooth. Its tannins, acidity and cherry soul are unmistakably Tuscan with the added character of fresh cassis, blackberries & minerality characteristic of Bordeaux. Highly recommended. - Mason
