It lives in the world of sea water very subtly flavored with heirloom apples, citrus and fino sherries. A minimalist exercise on salinity that could have a place in a museum of modern art.

the "Seven Spearsmen" shows dried mushroom on the nose; viscous and creamy in weight and texture; bright grapefruit notes on palate; crisp finish. a wonderful nose filled with nutty, ricey, toasty, earthy, and a touch of cooked apple aromas. Say hello to a really fantastic Hiyaoroshi sake that has a magic flavor that puts a smile on your Autumn face. It is liquid happiness.

Vivid fruit, toasted oak and black-tea flavors find excellent balance and make a great impression on the palate as this full-bodied wine layers complexity on depth. It shows a nice tension in the texture, lifting black-cherry, rhubarb and hints of mushrooms.

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Star Lane Vineyard is bold, pungent and bursting with fruit. Deep and unctuous in texture, but with considerable aromatic lift, the 2014 offers a terrific expression of Happy Canyon. Black cherry, blackberry, grilled herbs, menthol, sage and licorice infuse the rich, inviting finish.

Grapes sourced for this wine are from relatively new plantings in the NE corner of the county. Deep concentration of ripe black cherries and spice with a minerality sneaking through. Mouthfeel is rich and balanced with a lingering peppery finish.

Brick red/tawny in colour, with delicate nutty aromas and a hint of dried fruits. On the palate, very well balanced with a youthful fruity, luscious character, which integrates well with a long spirity finish.

The grapes are sourced from a mature vineyard in Contra Costa County with an extremely sandy-loam soil. Explosive aromas of blueberry preserves and sweet herbs--packed with blueberry nuance and firm tannins, the flavors accentuate this ultra-concentrated Petite Sirah. For those who love Petite Sirah, this one will not disappoint.

Pétillant naturel roughly translates to “naturally sparkling” and this rustic, ancient method of capturing effervescence in the bottle is a surrender to that natural process. The wine is bottled before primary fermentation is finished — without the addition of secondary yeasts or sugars. The wine completes the fermentation process in the bottle, capturing Co2 and resulting in a lively, terroir-driven sparkling wine.

Hailing from the legendary Stolpman Vineyard, located in Ballard Canyon. The Sauvignon Blanc is farmed practicing organic, planted on a limestone outcropping, at high density and on it’s own roots. Think honeydew melon, preserved lemon, & olive oil cake.

One of my favorite producers, Boillot seems to always achieve concentration, even in tough vintages. Here, this volnay displays notes of menthol and pine resin; on the palate, it's quite fine with seductive minerality and a long finish. Sourced from five different 1er Cru vineyards.

Founded by Arnaud Lambert in 2017, this namesake estate unites his Brézé and Saint Cyr en Bourg vineyards under one label, creating wines from 40 hectares of certified organic vineyards. The 2017 ‘Clos du Midi’ is a rocky and mineral-driven Chenin Blanc, showing notes of citrus, white flowers, and juicy stone fruit.

With aromatics of ripe apple and white peach, our Chardonnay has a creamy texture that makes it easy to drink. Medium bodied with underlying notes of roasted almonds and nectarine confit, it finishes clean and crisp with a lovely persistent flint like minerality.

This grows on the east coast of New Zealand’s South Island, the vines protected from the ocean winds by a range of coastal mountains. It’s a fresh, substantial white with ripe notes of green pear and a buzz of orange-like acidity. For such a big wine, it manages to feel crunchy and coastal, built for sea bass roasted with fennel.
