Created by Templar knights in the13th century, the estate now consists of 160 acres of vines. This wine has a strong sense of structure, with a zesty tang as well as tannins that enhance the fruitiness of this intense and juicy wine.

The Pinot Noir opens with bramble berry, wild strawberry, and rhubarb notes that accentuate the classic Pinot Noir pencil lead aromas from the barrel. The wine also has undertones of dried fig, blueberry, leather, and a soft anise. The palate is dominated by the same wild fruits in the
aromas, with bright acid that is well integrated in the wine.

For four generations, the Massucco family has been working directly with all aspects of their wine, cultivation and production.
It is an extremely respected family tradition. A bouquet of white flowers and fine elegant with fruity notes, including apple, peach and hazelnut. A bright yellow with green highlights, it is dry and slightly tart on the palate.

Vines grown at 1,800 feet give this wine its cool climate attitude. The granite soil gives a strong mineral character to the grapefruit and green apple flavors. With its textured almond and spice character, this is a ripe wine that is ready to drink now.

The nose on this wine, which is now being made by former Harlan Estate cellar master Adam Henkel, is fresh and boisterous with lime sorbet and lemon glacé aromas. The palate is clean and crisp yet quite tropical, with sweetgrass, mango and papaya flavors.

Cinammon and rhubarb, macerated strawberry and fresh raspberries with hints of orange peel and pomegranate. A slight bright fresh herbal note, tomato leaf, cedar and mushroom. In the mouth there are similar notes of orange peel and rhubarb, with forest floor and sauteed mushrooms. The wine has a beautiful mouthfeel, round with bright acidity and a finish of red fruit.

Lean and mean with pretty wild strawberry, red currant and lemon zest. The red mineral tones really shine alongside that vibrant crisp acid with perhaps a touch less fruit than in vintages past. This is an incredibly vivacious rose.

Oveja Negra Single Vineyard Carignan comes from 40 year old vines. Deep violet color. Rich aromas of blueberry compote, licorice and menthol tobacco with a supple dry-yet-fruity medium-full body and a long, tangy chewy finish with earthy accents of mushroom, squid ink and hay. A very well structured table wine to serve with grilled game.
