Scarpetta Pinot Grigio showcases some of the best sites in Friuli-Venezia Giulia for this aromatic varietal — starting with the light, gravelly soils of the Grave region. Setzer is located in Hohenwarth, (“high observation point”) a town whose winemaking history dates back to 1360. After picking and pressing the individual parcels were fermented separately. Following selection of the components, the wine was blended and bottled. Bright aromas of lime zest, passionfruit and snow pea. Crisp and refreshing, with lively acidity complementing flavors of kaffir lime, tropical fruit and gooseberry.

Another knockout release from this knockout producer, Lafage punches at a heavyweight class but for a featherweight price. This Chardonnay, aged for a short period on Viognier lees for a little aromatic boost, has wonderful notes of golden delicious apples, peaches and white flowers. It has a creamy texture that leads you towards buttery but never pushes you over the cliff. A delight through and through that won't put you down for the count.

Grown from an old-vine parcel that Danila Pisano rents. 100% Rossese. Super lifted aromatically with notes of fresh roses, tar, black pepper and spice. Light bodied, but great acidity and tannin, this is a fantastic food wine.

Domaine Chapelle et Fils is situated in the heart of Santenay, the southernmost village of the Cote d’Or. This is classic red burgundy for a great price. Earthy and subtle with tart red fruit notes and soft tannin. You can't go wrong with this food friendly red.

Deeply flavored, but delicate and refreshing in body, this delicious rosé comes from one of the masters of Syrah in the Northern Rhône: Yves Cuilleron. Grown from vineyards on either side of Yves’ winery, the wine is made in the saignée method, making the wine both vibrantly fresh and gratifyingly flavorful.

Light pink, silky and radiant color, The Syltbar sparkling rose is made of 100% Merlot which gives this Sparkling Rose a robust, round flavor that is delicious to the last drop. Overall, it is a delightful, well-balanced, clean, clear and creamy wine.

100% destemmed fruit, 100% carbonic maceration that lasts 10 days. Deep ruby color, aromas of black cherry, licorice and pepper. A bit deeper than the Gamay, and with a touch more tannin. An excellent match for tomme and comté cheeses.
