Its soft characteristics and velvety tannins, however, make it drinkable at a younger age. 24 Months in 50% new oak, 50% in french oak barrels, 100% natural and unfiltered.

This massive, rich, concentrated Petite Sirah is a 50-year wine. Black as a moonless night, it displays notes of graphite, incense, camphor, blueberry and blackberry liqueur. It is still in barrel, but it’s a monster. Here is a new lineup of wines that shows his creative Midas touch for coaxing full character out of his diverse terroirs and blends.

Ultra rare single vineyard bottling of Frappato from famed Natural wine maker Occhipinti. Less than six bottles were allocated to Denver, meaning you are one of the very few people given to chance to taste this wine. Like her others, it has amazing aromatics, beautiful balance and a lush texture that can only come from naturally produced sicilian wine.

It was exciting to see that the 2017 Nicolas, all old-vine Grenache from three terroirs, was showing more red fruit and freshness than the 2016. It's still rich, deep and velvety in texture, but it's livelier and should be a similarly rocking value once it's released.

Always a classic! This carbonic carignan is delightful in the summer, slightly chilled down. Ultra aromatic and bright, it's refreshing and food friendly. The Carignan vines average 40 years in age, with some of them being up over 100 years old. Half of the Carignan is vinified traditionally----and half carbonic.

The “Champs Grillés” lieu-dit is situated in the heart of the Saint Amour appellation on soil composed of sand and schist. The average age of the vines are 70 years (as of 2011) with some as old as 90 years. The wine is aged in stainless steel and bottled within a year of the harvest. Approximately 250 cases per annum are available for the US market.

Puerta del Viento is a family winery located in the El Bierzo region. 100% natural, not using any type of additives: only the biological management of the fermentations and the passage of time. They do not use sulfites, their wines contain less than 10 mg / L of total SO2. The vineyards are certified in organic production.

This wine comes from the same single vineyard as the Terra Rossa Brunello, has the same fermentation, but has one year less aging. It truly can be called a ‘baby brunello’. Cherry, plum and spice flavors are present in this firm red, showing a light chalky texture. Balanced and long, with good acidity.

Deep ruby. A highly perfumed bouquet evokes ripe dark berries, candied flowers, cola and exotic spices. Seamless, broad and sweet in the mouth, offering lush black raspberry, cherry compote and licorice flavors and a suave floral pastille quality. Gains power and spiciness with air and finishes extremely long and focused, featuring clinging sweetness and youthful tannic grip.

With a whisper of smoke, the spicy red fruit, licorice, peppery, earth and herbs are paired with red berries that are bright, vibrant and fresh. The wine offers a lifted, red fruit character in the finish.

The wine is vinified in stainless steel and then aged for about 5-6 months in neutral oak barrels to give the wine some texture. It is ruby red in color – so bright and clean you can read through it! It has red and black berries, cherries, blackcurrant, licorice and spice notes on the nose.

An impressive newcomer. Born in Orange, Charles Helfenbein started from zero – his parents had no vineyards. He slowly worked his way, earning degrees in wine making as well as studying with Colombo, Delas and Dard & Ribo. He is still undiscovered, but these wines will surely become must haves for those who love Syrah and the Rhone Valley.
