From a one hectare plot of vines ranging from 15 to 50 years in age. Sandy-clay over Turonian-era limestone. Hand-harvested in small bins in the early morning to keep temperatures low. Native yeast fermentation in concrete vats for 3 weeks without pumpovers to limit extraction. Aged for 8 months in concrete vats. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Alcoholic fermentation in barrels. Ageing 9 months in oak (30% new) and lees stirring every 15 days. This is a Condrieu with great acidity, depth and brightness. The palate, although rich, has good mineral and saline character with citrus fruits and earth on the finish with notes of pear and spice. A great apéritif, or with patés, foie gras or full-flavored cheeses.

This is a limited vintage from the highest nine acre block of the Goodchild Vineyard, an outstanding location to grow the superior clone 667. It was aged sur lees in Francois Ferrar oak barrels bringing forth the natural flavors of bright red fruit with smooth tannins and a lingering finish. The tasting Panel gave this wine 93 Points!

The 14 Hands Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich, juicy red that features aromas of dark cherry, black currant, coffee and subtle hints of spice. These flavors are complemented by a touch of spicy oak and emphasized by refined tannins.

Produced from old vines of more than 40 years of age, this wine is based on equal parts Grenache, Grenache Gris, Cinsault, and Syrah. The 'Epicure' Rosé is vinified via the direct press method. The backbone of minerality gives a touch of class to this wine, which has a briskly dry finish and pretty floral bouquet.

Xavier Vignon, an oenologist from the University of Montpellier, worked as a winemaker all over France before settling in the Rhône Valley 15 years ago. Blended from grapes from the Languedoc and the Rhone that Xavier epitomizes as “Fruit, flowers, spices & foremost fun”. The blanc offers notes of citrus, tropical fruit followed by floral white flowers.

A tasty vein of cranberry and raspberry runs from the nose to the palate and lingers on the finish, giving this value-priced wine focus and vibrance. It has plenty of fresh acidity, fine tannins and good depth of flavor. Best Buy.
