Ripe peach, citrus fruits, spice, and pie crust aromas all mingle and lift from the glass. The citrus, supported by notes of apricot, continues on the palate which is concentrated with a rich, creamy middle palate, and strong supporting acidity. The finish is long and marked with hints of vanilla. This wine will continue to build richness as it ages in the bottle

One of the vintage’s strongest efforts, this was the first wine made entirely at the new Spottswoode Winery. Exotic, rich, blue and black fruits soar from the glass of this wine that seems open-knit, velvety textured and not terribly structured, but possessing beautiful fruit and fragrance. It is a sleeper selection and a beauty of medium body to drink over the next 7-8 years.

Our Merlot has medium ruby color, with aromas of black olive, violets, sweet oak, vanilla and black cherry. Demonstrating finesse and softness, the flavors of plum, blackberry, and chocolate linger in the mouth. This wine is well balanced and prime for early drinking, complimenting a wide variety of foods.

Named "Lutte," which means "fight to overcome" in French, this is a Gamay sourced from a few places throughout the wide Willamette Valley. This is an extremely pretty expression of Gamay, with soft notes of black pepper on the nose that mix with plush soft red fruit. Texturally complex on the palate, with bright yet sumptuous notes of sour cherry and cranberry.

The nose shows intense white fruit aromas, classic Riesling intensity without the more stony character often found on richer wines. The palate feels surprisingly intense, while finishing very dry but without any tightness. An easy wine to enjoy in its youth.

One of the lightest and gentlest amari, this amber spirit delicately mixes sarsaparilla-like herbal notes and honey sweetness with just the right bitter edge. Mix it into cocktails—mixologists love this amaro—or sip it as a delightful digestif.

These five vine plots are situated on the northern slope of Gevrey-Chambertin called the “Côteau de Brochon”. Thanks to the small, concentrated berries produced by these plots of old vines, we find here all the richness and fruitiness of a Gevrey-Chambertin, its velvety smooth tannins, its superb freshness and its length on the palate.

Vines are 40-55 years old and from the ‘Charmes’ plateau, these organic old vines of gamay yield magnificent, perfumed berries with firm skins. One of the best granite terroirs, with elegance and ‘drinkability.’

The 2017 Volnay Village has a playful, joyous bouquet with tart red cherries and crushed strawberry. The palate is medium-bodied with lithe tannin, brisk and breezy with the structure finally surfacing towards the finish. Enjoy over the next 12 to 15 years.

Scents of bright red cherries mingle with strawberry and damp moss-like notes. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy, quite bold tannin, earthy and masculine with a classic, slightly marine-like finish, a tang of oyster shell on the aftertaste. Superb.

Tellus Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from Montecchio in the heart of Falesco’s estate in Umbria. Soils here are clay and calcareous, sitting at 300 meters ASL . Aromatics are fully developed with appropriate elevation while soils here produce a balanced Cabernet profile of moderate body, acidity and tannins. Flavors lean to ripe black fruits and tell-tale herbaceous notes.

Italian Merlot is often framed by two primary characteristics: dark fruit aromas (black fruits) and a savory, earthy complexity (herbal, truffle). Tellus Merlot exhibits a rich, plush mouthfeel from the long skin maceration of 18 days, with medium tannic structure enhanced by the use of Nevers barriques.
