Though full-flavored, the wine is high-toned and lifted on the palate by fresh strawberries, fresh-cut roses, and kirsch, touched on the seamless finish by white pepper and exotic spices.

From master winemaker Raúl Pérez, this beautiful white wine comes from the Bierzo district, a cool, rugged vineyard zone in northwestern Spain. Made from Godello vines from a high-altitude site, the wine is at once vibrantly refreshing and lushly textured, with beautiful flavors and aromas of stone fruit and melon. Flavors of orange and white grapefruit are refreshing, while the finish brings weight, solidity and confirmation.

At once rich and crisply vibrant, it’s a beautiful expression of tropical fruit, pear, and melon, with hints of exotic spice and flowers. Essentially a declassified Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi.

From old Chenin Blanc vines that were planted on an unusual site with black flint (silex noir in French) terroir. Grown organically since 2003, the wine is brilliant and fresh, wth pear, peach, and complex notes of herbs, honey, and minerals. A magnificent Vouvray with a classic hint of sweetness balanced by bracing acidity.

Coming from the Champs Claude, a vineyard abutting the 1er Cru of Chassagne Morgeots, the wine bears more than a passing resemblance to its revered neighbor. Full-bodied, richly textured, and redolent of ripe pears, orchard flowers, and touched with minerals, citrus zest, and baking spices. A beautiful, perfectly balanced Chardonnay.

Combe is the collaborative project of Peter Stolpman and Rajat Parr. The 2019 Trousseau is a bit darker than previous vintages, but it remains the same light-bodied juicy juice masher that goes down too easily. Even with this wine's juicy quaffability, it is still structured, firm and worthy of geeking out over. Bottled without sulfur or other additions.

The fruit for the Logan Farrell Cabernet is sourced primarily from Oakville and is comprised of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine offers tremendous value and quality for the money, featuring density, a sense of polish, as well as an energetic balance.

Le Bergey is the entry level label of Château L’Escart, a Bordeaux Supérieur winery run by the Laurent family which live on the property.
