August Vicent is not only the proprietor Celler Cecilio, the oldest registered estate in Priorat, but he happens to be a neighbor of Daphne Glorian and Eric Solomon in the small village of Gratallops. This wine is characterful, lush and exotically-spiced wines, from vines ranging in age from 20 to 65+ years old. Fermented entirely with indigenous yeasts, it is aged in a combination of concrete and French oak barrels.

Ripe plum, juicy cherry, red apple core and chalk tones dominate the nose. Crushed strawberries mixed with invigoratingly fresh Bing cherry and red apple flavors explode on the palate. The Damilano family business dates back to 1890 when Giuseppe Borgogno started cultivating and producing wine from the grapes from his own vineyards.
