The nose was dark fruited with exotic perfume. Rich; black cherry dried florals notes, savory spices. Silky and enveloped textures, balanced with pure red fruit, floral notes, with hints of black pepper. The finish: long yet, soft and harmonious. Gorgeous wine from the Champigny.

Vin de California is the brainchild of Adam and Kate Vourvoulis, who strive to make wines from heritage varieties in a totally natural way. The grapes for this wine are grown organically at the Bassi Vineyard and then fermented in an open top wood foudre (basically a gigantic barrel) with native yeast and no additions. It went through natural malolactic fermentation and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Minimum S02 added.

Domaine du Salvard has been a working domaine since 1898, through five hardworking generations of the Delaille family. Today, forty-two hectares of vineyards are farmed by the brother team of Emmanuel & Thierry Delaille, w/ help from their father Gilbert. This is a fresh, lively Sauvignon Blanc, deeply rooted in the sand, clay, & limestone plains northeastern Touraine

High altitude, super unique soils and steep slopes produce extremely particular fruit. Tinta Roriz (aka, Tempranillo) from RHV is picked and direct pressed to form the delicate, spicy, snappy strawberry component for this wine. Fox Hill Vineyard is planted ALMOST entirely to Italian varieties. The Portuguese block is the exception. Souzão and Touriga Nacional.

Three of the niftiest parcels off the Testa Ranch are picked together and are joined in whole cluster fermentation matrimony. Old vine Carignan, very old vine Grenache and some of the sexiest Cabernet Sauvignon out there come together as one to provide a window into the world of the Testa family and what they've been up to for the last 100-plus years.

As a classic Chianti should be, the acidity is mouthwatering, warming up the palate for a range of food; try it with everything from classic red sauce pastas, sauteed greens, and saltier cheeses all the way to richer food like roasted lamb or game birds. The grapes are fermented with native yeast on the skins for 2 weeks in stainless steel and then some old barrel.

Still with plenty of tannins, this structured wine, with 80% Merlot, is crisp as much as ripe, but with some good aging potential. Tannins will soften further as the wine matures. The wine is then aged in ank for another 6 months to allow for a natural clarification

Orlegi is a fresh, lean, red made from old vines between the villages of Elciego and Laguardia. The semi-carbonic maceration brings back the old-fashioned way of making Rioja. Red-berry aromas along with a little black currant. The taste mimics the red fruit but also introduces some plum and blueberry. This is a juicy wine that goes great with anything on the grill.

Fragrant and firmly anchored in tart red fruits, notably pomegranate and wild raspberry, this medium-bodied wine is well-structured and should age nicely over the next few years. It might be favorably compared to a village wine from a top Burgundy. Pairs well with pork, beef and red sauce pasta dishes. Also, phenomenal with well ripened cheeses.

Bright red. Fresh red berry and candied rose scents show impressive clarity and energy. Sweet and vibrant in style, offering lively, mineral-tinged raspberry and spicecake flavors and seamless texture. Closes with very good focus and alluring spiciness; fine-grained tannins add shape and subtle grip.
