Intrinsic is a true expression of Cabernet Sauvignon in Washington yet with a new, distinct take. This wine has a refined nose with aromas of leather and cherries that are truthful to Cabernet Sauvignon in Washington. The flavors are layered with tones of blueberry jam, pomegranate and chocolate. The texture is rustic, yet silky, with a unique savory and inviting finish.

Its bouquet is intense and rich with hints of very ripe fruit (plum, apricot and marmalade) and floral notes. Complex, its spice and dry fruit notes derive from the evolution in oak wood, through oxidation In the mouth, it is a full-bodied and rich-flavoured wine, extremely well balanced, that combines elegance with a delicate yet persistent finish.

The 2013 J. Lohr Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon is showing exceptionally dark color with a bright hue at release. Intense fruit aromas of black cherry, plum and blueberry are accented by a barrel bouquet of hazelnut, dark chocolate and toasted pastry. Sturdy tannins strike the palate and finish with the hightoned fruit signature that typifies the Paso Robles appellation.

Opaque purple. Intensely perfumed aromas of cherry and blackberry are brightened by zesty minerality and a subtle peppery quality. Lively red and dark fruits on the palate, with black pepper and licorice nuances emerging with air. Sappy and strikingly intense for the price, finishing with excellent persistence and gentle tannic grip.

The history of Domaine Laroche starts in 1850 and is closely related to the development of Chablis and its vineyard. The first step of Laroche is always the discovery of exceptional terroirs and setting of state-of-the-art wineries. The wine is bright ruby in color. Ripe and pulpy cherry aroma on the nose. Juicy mouthfeel combined with supple, velvety tannins.

Dark and dense, this is sourced from the winery’s own Sacrashe property in the hillsides of Rutherford, as well as Bergfeld Vineyard. The wine has a concentrated and jammy quality that doesn’t step over the edge. It offers anise, blackberry, black currant and dried herb around a soft , rounded mouthfeel and long finish. The Seifried Sauvignon Blanc 2015 is bright and flavoursome. The nose has intense varietal characters and lifted bright fruit. The palate has generous entry showing tropical fruit, dried herbs and gorgeous minerally characters. A lengthy finish leaves a flavoursome lasting impression.

Plump and forward, with a tasty core of dark plum, fig sauce and blackberry preserves rolled together and pushed from behind by apple wood and tobacco notes. A flash of bittersweet cocoa adds length on the finish.

Brassy yellow color of medium depth. The aromas are fresh and reminiscent of ripe nectarine, apple and strawberry combined with honey, grilled hazelnuts and toasty oak from the barrel fermentation and sur lie aging. The palate weight is plump and rich, with flavors echoing the aromas with a delicate balance of acidity, buttery length and sophisticated elegance.

Aromas of blueberry, licorice and bitter chocolate are a bit stunted by the bottling. Juicy, primary and tight, offering black fruit, bitter chocolate and espresso flavors framed by firm minerality. There's a creaminess lurking today but currently this wine is dominated by its sappy lift. Finishes very long and sweet, with noble tannins. appears to be built for a slow evolution

Rich and powerful, but focused like a laser, with wild berry and toasty briar aromas that lead to ripe but complex flavors of black cherry, licorice and spicy orange peel. The tannins are big but fleshy. Drink now through 2022. 900 cases made.

This pretty rich 2013 Maimai Syrah serves up a wonderful density; smooths on the end. Deep ruby black color; bold, black fruit aromas, quite concentrated; medium to full bodied, chewy and long on the palate; black fruit, tar quite good; medium bodied, some tannins on the palate; attractive grapey, black fruit flavors & a long finish.
