This cuvée is the Riesling Trocken with a rich mineral depth only lees aging can bring. The sandstone and loess soils produce textural wines reminiscent of those in neighboring Alsace, wines with a complexity that fuses lightness and freshness with depth and length. The Riesling Sur Lie spends 18 months in stainless steel on the lees, adding an extra layer of energy and mystery

My tongue is still tingling. The sugar here merely prevents the acidity from running away with this wine, but there is plenty of power on the gripping and tense finish. After the enticing and classic aromatics, this finishes with a bang. There is a hint of petrol as it warms and airs out, but not much. Beautifully done and very elegant, it’s another fine value from the winery.

Sven Bruchfeld was using his Cabernet Sauvignon in the past to blend in his Polkura Syrah and Malbec. After seeing how good the grapes were, he decided to make a beautiful, balanced AND affordable wine. Medium to heavy body, dark berries on the palate. One of the best values in the market!

Dark garnet in color, this Carmenere has aromas of black plum, rich soil, toasted vanilla, and licorice. Fruity with dried raspberry, tar, roasted cherry, white pepper, black licorice, and a moderate oakiness. The tannins are soft and silky with a warming medium-length finish.

From 70 year old gamay vines grown on mostly limestone soils just outside of Anse in southeastern Beaujolais. Vinified semi carbonic in concrete then aged in a mix concrete and neutral barrel. Serious enough for the avid Beaujolais drinker but not too serious for the novice Beaujolais drinker.

This small 0.8 hectare parcel in Morgon is grown on mostly granite soils. Expect heft and depth for a Cru known for showcasing the power gamay can have when given the opportunity. Semi carbonic in concrete then aged for 18 months in neutral barrel.

This PetNat is all hand harvested Cabernet Franc from the Demeter certified biodynamic estate vineyard. The fruit driven nose has notes of raspberry jam and delicious red apple with a touch of pink bubblegum on the edges. Bright, fresh, and crisp on the palate with juicy red fruit and a hint of freshly baked bread. Exploding with flavor!

From 10 separate small parcels totally only 4 hectare total, this Cab Franc is exactly what’s you’d expect from a warm vintage like 2019. Dense and textured with just enough crunchy red fruit-this wine was fermented in concrete then aged for one year in neutral barrel. Unfined, unfiltered with just a little bit of SO2. This is wine at its most pure form.

Pale straw color with pineapple and pear aromas filling the nose. A citrus-driven entry of Meyer lemon rind transitions to a medium-bodied mouthfeel with butterscotch and lemon meringue creaminess. Bright acidity drives the medium-long, refreshing finish.
