The Joy Wine & Spirits staff recently teamed up to select the best bourbon from 6 barrel samples from the Laws distillery. We found barrel number 389 to have the character and intensity we were looking for. This is a great bourbon showing off a subtle spiciness with flavors of caramel, toffee and vanilla. Rich, balanced and robust, our barrel is ideal for slow sipping.

Straw-yellow with citrine tinges. Delicate, attractive with hints of white blossom and almond. Smooth, slightly bitter, characteristic of the vine.

High planting density of 9,000 to 10,000 vines per hectare. Soil worked by machine and compost brought in to encourage cover crop. Bud and leaf removal by hand to limit yield and ensure quality.

The estate owns 10 hectares of vineyards that are certified biodynamic and 6 hectares are organic, with vines ranging in age from 25 to 45 years. The total production comes from 30 hectares on the steep slopes in and around the village of Husseren-les-Châteaux. All grapes are hand-harvested.

This opens with mealy aromas of watermelon and cherry that smell rich and full. The palate offers a bit more restraint, with focused flavors of tart cherry and berry that are framed by prickly acidity. The finish is short, but crisp and mouthwatering.

The wine shows a pleasant youth.The nose is frank, pleasant, open and racy. One perceives a dominant of fruity scents, citrus fruit, lemon, floral scents, white flowers and a fine touch of spice, ginger. The palate is dominated by fruits, including citrus fruit, lemon, blood orange, white fruits, golden apple, spices, ginger and a complex, floral note.

A Colheita is an aged Tawny Port made with grapes from a single vintage. With amber colour and greenish hints. Refined and elegant, reveals richness in the aromatic diversity with noted of nuts, cocoa and wood splashed by a subtle vinegar denoting a great style.Full-bodied, round and concentrated mouth.

Not a big wine, but a well-balanced, well-behaved one that's sophisticated enough for any setting. It feels smooth and gentle in texture, tastes quietly assertive in flavor and has a refined personality overall—a classic Anderson Valley Pinot.

Fruity and refreshing, Sofia Blanc de Blancs is a rare blend of Pinot Blanc, Muscat, and Riesling. Mellow flavors of apples and pears are topped by a hint of citrus and honeysuckle. Elegant in character, this wine is lightly textured and vibrant through the finish.

You couldn’t ask for a cleaner, fresher, flintier, or truer expression of Sauvignon Blanc. Its mouth-watering acidity, depth of flavor, and fleshy texture will have you racing back for more. Fermentation takes place naturally with indigenous yeasts. Wine ages for 6 months on fine lees in stainless steel. Depending on the vintage, the lees are stirred two to three times.

Floral and perfumed nose of roses and fresh strawberries. Underlying the brightness on the nose, is a wine of earthy power and complexity; the perfect combination for pinot noir. Ripe raspberry fruit and hibiscus tea on the velvet palate along with subtle smoke, anise and pepper spice. Fine, dusty tannins and freshness from vibrant acidity on the finish.

produced from grapes traditionally used in the Vinho Verde demarcated region, especially in the Sousa subregion. This truly genuine wine has all the quality characteristic of this exceptional area. It is distinguished by its richness, taste and aroma. Young and delicate, it should be served with fish, seafood and white meat dishes.
