"Schioppettino (also called Ribolla Nera) originates in the Friuli region of Italy and Slovenia. We have one of the only plantings in California. An ancient grape, Schioppettino, which means “gunshot,” was first mentioned in print for a wedding ceremony in 1282. It is distantly related to Syrah and Pinot noir."

Low in alcohol, refreshingly tart, and often served with a flavored syrup like Woodruff or raspberry, the Berliner-style Weisse presents a harmony between yeast and lactic acid. These beers are very pale in color, and may be cloudy as they are often unfiltered. Hops are not a feature of this style, but these beers often do showcase esters.

This English-style barleywine ale uses floor-malted English barley, Noble hops, and is aged in 10-15 year-old, single use bourbon barrels for 16 months to bring you a complex and subtle craft beer flavor experience. We brewed this to celebrate brewing our 5000th brew, and we look forward to sharing it with you, our craft beer family.

Bodegas Barreda in the high altitude dry meseta region of La Mancha Spain is converting these old vines to organics. This wine is a crowd pleaser with plump blackberry fruit and hints of vanilla, but it has a bit of a serious side, some bass notes if you will that make it able to stand up to great foods like BBQ, dry-aged steaks or leg of lamb with herbs.

The wine that has come to define the traditional style of txakolina. Produced exclusively from indigenous hondarrabi zuri grapes grown on trellises high on the slopes rising above Getaria, an ancient Basque fishing village on Spain’s rugged northern coast. These Côtes de Provence vineyards benefit fully from the Mediterranean climate: mild winters, early spring and moderate summers, when the sun’s continuous and beneficial rays ensure the vines produce fully mature grapes, oozing ripe juice.

This sparkling Brut is aged for more than 20 months on the lees. This is an elegant wine with flavors of nectarine and white cherry with pretty accents of ground ginger and pink grapefruit sorbet.
