This is an outright steal for a wine of this quality, a remarkable entry into the producer’s wider world of knockout designates. Lush and layered, it combines decadent cherry, vanilla and spicy cinnamon-cola over an elegant, medium-bodied structure.

Cent Visages, meaning 100 faces, is the name Jean-François gives to his cuvée of 100% Côt (Malbec) from a single vineyard in St. Julien de Chedon. These 50 year old vines are an old massale selection of Cot and ones which are the source for many of his new plantings. Cent Visage is fermented in concrete tanks by natural yeasts and aged in concrete for at least 24 months before bottling.

Sunshine in a glass. This wine has an unmistakable spring-like nose resembling roses, star fruit, and honeysuckle. Primal on the palate it’s crisp, bright and clean.

Showing a beautiful and luminous pale pink hue. The balanced pallet is bright and aromatic. Wild strawberry, watermelon and white-fleshed fruit with distinct aromas of white pepper and stone dust. Grapes are hand picked at night to insure freshness. Grapes are immediately direct pressed in pneumatic press to retain primary aromas. No maceration takes place to preserve elegance.

Cranberry, cherry and rose petal notes fill the bright aromas and then echo on the silky flavors. Hints of Chinese five-spice and mocha develop as the wine expands across the palate. Balanced acidity and supple tannins structure the flavors and carry them through the spicy, fruit-imbued finish.

This 2014's palate is light but intense with black raspberry and cherry fruit that coats the palate, with a long finish of saline earth, bright acidity and red fruits. Drink alongside their Fleurie for an excercise in terroir! This is a subtle light-bodied old-school Beaujolais that will drink beautifully over the next five to eight years. Best with charcuterie, roast chicken, pork and mild cheeses.

This is a small production Sancerre from a single vineyard. It's beautifully crafted and elegant with subtle stone fruit and plenty of chalky minerality. Simply delicious.

The complex aromatics include a range of fruit (apricot to citrus), fresh spring flowers and freshly cut grass. On the palate, these flavors are elaborated by salinity, water chestnut and grapefruit zest notes. The mouthfeel is round and coating, but still possesses the crisp acidity and balanced alcohol that characterize LMR Sauvignon Blanc.

This entry is medium straw colored with up front mineral, honeysuckle and musk notes. The palate explodes with tropical guava, mango and passion fruit, and folds into a vanilla crème brulee pouch with a poached peach core. The wine is multi-layered and complex and plays well between the fruit and spice flavors and aromas. The barrel fermented complexity shines through.

Beautifully balanced, this wine jumps out of the glass with aromas of candied cherries, cassis and strawberries with vanilla cream. The supple entry opens brightly with intense sweet fresh fruit of blackberry and boysenberry.
