“The 2019 Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières is brilliant, unwinding with scents of citrus oil, crisp Anjou pear, green apple, white flowers, crushed chalk and toasted wood. Medium to full-bodied, chiseled and incisive, it’s electric and tightly wound, with terrific concentration, appreciable structuring dry extract and a long, mineral finish.

This wine is a love letter to our winery’s wild new home in Scott Valley, pioneering a sense of place that channels a vast mineral range, a savage elevation, and a generous beauty. Trousseau brings the blood orange tang, Monduese adds high toned black fruit and a peppery perfume, while the Blaufränkisch rounds things out with a bitter kick and savory structure.

Like a neon tractor beam jetting out of the Trinity Alps, our third vintage of the 'Arcana' Savagnin has both exceeded my expectations and my comprehension. Rocky and electric, with a tropical punch and a heady herbal tea perfume, if you feel like you've experienced a case of missing time, that means it's working. The owls are not what they seem.

The front palate is peppered with notes of melon and citrus, while the crisp grapefruit-like acidity lingers and adds texture. We keep every vineyard batch separate throughout the winemaking process until blending. The final process is fining and filtering, before the wine is then bottled.

100% Melon de Bourgogne (aka, the grape of Muscadet), direct slow-press fermentation in tank, with brief battonage. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, with a tiny amount of SO2. The vignes are grown in a mix of limestone, clay and flint, which confer a distinctly mineral frame, with some tannin and a perfumed, saline quality. Rocky juice!

Mignon's unique approach to viticulture, fondly referred to as the Mignon Method, combines natural practices including biodynamics, phytotherapy, homeopathy and geobiology. The moon is his guiding force for all actions in the vineyard and cellar.

Brut Nature shows a beautiful, expressive nose of red fruits and faint floral aromas. Rich on the palate with balanced acidity.

Chemin des Prières immediately delivers a very beautiful saline, frank and mineral expression. Its notes of fresh citrus fruits, its relief in the mouth, its pure fruit form a precise whole, totally irresistible because it is both dry and refreshing.

This wine is made from 100% Piculit Neri, a heritage varietal uncovered on 11 acres of vineyards in Friuli. This grape was found to make quality wines dating back to the Renaissance period. This wine is an herbaceous, bright, sauvage wine has hints of smoke and spice; it resolves to forest fruits, medium (+) tannin, and a true expression of a beautiful past. Lovely indeed.

The wine as a crystal-clear appearance tinged with pink mother-of-pearl. The captivating first nose is suggestive of grapefruit and vanilla. It then opens up with a lovely lemony and mineral freshness and an explosion of citrus and exotic fruit aromas. The wine is silky, luscious and tangy, then becomes fuller, fatter and rounder with hints of mango and passion fruit.
