Nose: Hints of minty dark chocolate. And peach peel. Sherry notes strike in. And oak. Tropical fruits and red berries.
Taste: Sweet and dark fruits, quite syrupy. Figs and blood oranges. Drops of water and oxidation brings softness and richness in the form of vanilla, licorice and cinnamon.
Finish: Orange zest, cinnamon and nutmeg on the finish.

The vineyards of Nerello for our Polpo Rosso are in Sambuca di Sicilia (Western Sicily). Growing method of vineyard is what we call vertical trellis. Nerello cultivated on Mt Etna has more minerality and acidity than other Nerellos in Sicily, and this one is no exception. A light, juicy in texture, slightly earthy red wine. This one goes down easy. Maybe too easy?

Pali's Summit Pinot Noir is full flavored and elegant, ruby red color with spice and bright red cherry, dried herbs and a sea foam salinity. This is a great Pinot Noir to pair with food. This wine is expertly blended to capture the spirit of the region and express the unique flavors associated with Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir. It is fermented in small lots and then aged in 20% new French oak for 240 days.

The partnership of Jean Nicolas Meo, of Meo Camuzet and Jay Boberg, this is a Vibrant and Sexy Pinot Noir with ripe strawberry, tart cherry, baking spice and dried herbs. Bright red color, aromas waft enticingly from the glass. The palate is elegant with red fruit, cinnamon and layers that evolve and last on the finish.

The Chemist has a deep, inky purple color and aromas of berry cobbler, blackberry and tobacco. On the palate the Chemist is a big, bold, racy wine with tons of black fruits, tar, graphite and a long finish with ultra-fine tannins. Although powerful, it is nuanced and elegant as Chemist fans expect, and is going to evolve gracefully.

Lime, grape fruit and white flowers on the nose with flavors of lemon and apricot. Great minerality and acidity!

The 2024 Arnot-Roberts Rosé is a vibrant dance of Touriga Nacional, Tinta Cão, Trincadeira, and Grenache. Bursting with wild strawberry, tart cherry, and rose petal, it unfolds with hints of blood orange and crushed stone. Crisp acidity meets a silky texture, leading to a refreshing, mineral-driven finish. Bold yet elegant, it's a rosé that demands attention.

From Ricci’s one hectare of south/southwest exposed, 25+ year-old vines. Fermented in stainless steel casks with indigenous yeast and elevated in used barriques, El Matt is fragrant and fruit-driven (dried cherries, pomegranate) with notes of licorice and earth on the finish. Pair with roasted meats, earthy veggies, and aged cheeses.

From grapes grown organically at high altitude on the side of the active volcano Mt. Etna. The wine is aged in botti from 220 to 500 liters for a minimum of two years in a natural underground cavern that maintains a cool temperature all year. Delicate aromatics wrapped in velvety tannins this naturally made wine makes for a serious pairing with leg of lamb or Pasta alla Norma!

The Antsy Pants is a barrel selection of the winemaker’s favorite barrels from the vintage, blended blind to create something truly special. The 2013 is roughly equal parts of three vineyards: Sunny Mtn, Cherry Grove and Vista Hills. Mostly destemmed, gently pressed, native yeast fermented and aged 18 months in neutral oak barrels. Focused and elegant Pinot Noir.

On the nose, cooked agave flavors and tropical fruits entice the senses along with honeyed vanilla blossoms, and white pepper. On the palate, bittersweet chocolate joins the flavors from the nose in a crescendo of flavor. The finish is long and pleasant with agave flavors and tropical fruits lingering after a solid dose of oak spice fades.
