This Friulano is a benchmark wine for the Collio. The single vineyard old vines are planted on the unique 'ponka' soil which offers steeper slopes, great drainage and provides intense minerality to the wines. Notes of fresh ginger and almond paste lie just below freshly crushed green apple and zime zest. Pair with well aged parmesan and a mountain of San Daniele prosciutto.

Lovely malt and fruit mix with a spicy slightly sweet tail to it. Lots of weight and mouthfeel to it. Luscious orange, citrus and spice blend. While sweet, not as much as one would think from the old literature. Mild tingling on the lips and tongue. Very clean distillation and wonderful blending. Lovely, long lingering finish with lots of malt, fruit & a touch of tobacco.

Spice meets cookie dough on the nose, with a touch of peppery rye evident along with a hint of gunpowder. Chewy and more malt-focused on the tongue, the whiskey takes a peppery turn late in the game on the palate, a rumbling note of roasted almonds, milk chocolate, coconut, and indistinct spice all in a slurry.

Blanc d’Assemblage” is a roughly 50/50 split of Meunier and Chardonnay (with a pinch of Pinot Noir for good measure), and combines the intensity and texture of Meunier with the length and brightness of Chardonnay. A truly elegant, no-sulfur added Brut Nature Champagne.

A fruit forward blend of Merlot, Syrah, Cab Franc and Cab Sauv. Deep and dark, with juicy flavors of plum, blueberry and black pepper spice. Well integrated tannins support the bold fruit and make this a fun wine to have with sausages or Buffalo Chicken Wings.

This unique field blend comes from the Cuddihy Vineyard, planted in 1971 with over 40 different varietals. Pressed in a simple basket-press and fermented slowly using only naturally present yeast, then bottled unfiltered this is truly a magical wine. Only a few cases now exist. The complexities of this wine unfold slowly in the glass. Pair with any long meal and good company.

A garnet color in the glass, this Bulgarian Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of vanilla, black plum and lavender. Flavors of black cherry and black raspberry unfold in the glass. The tannins are soft and well structured, with a pleasant astringency on the finish.

This rosé of Gamza is delicately juicy with hints of cherry, strawberry, and rose petals. Soft and balanced with a delightful finish.

This Pinot Noir, a blend of fruit from the Cancilla and Silvershot vineyards, is made with whole cluster semi-carbonic fermentation and spent about 10mo in 500-liter 5-year-old barrels. It's bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfur. To me, it hits the perfect balance of damp earth, gravel, underbrush to bursting red fruits, violets, and bright acidity.
