Medium deep ruby color. Quite intense and generous fruity nose (red berries) along with floral and spicy notes, a hint of menthol and hard candy. On the pallet medium bodied, showing notable intensity while retaining an essentially mid-weight style. Strong, intense and quite powerful when young, evolving to a complex and elegant, very well balanced wine with ageing.

Light aromas of oak, with pear and apricot. The palate brings notes of stone and orchard fruits. Good length.

Deep aromas of ripe red and dark fruits are joined by delicate violet and lavender notes, with traces of vanilla and mocha. A rich, concentrated mouthfeel is highlighted by flavors of blueberries and blackberries with a touch of leather and cinnamon. The wine has well- integrated tannins, bright acidity and a flinty minerality that provides exceptional length to the Finish.

Arresting and open, suited either to immediate, joyful consumption or longer aging. The lithe, floral character of the Albillo is in contrast with the density of the Tempranillo here, yielding a high-toned wine with beautiful red fruit and a lacy structure from both acid and tannins. Favor an oaky, California Chardonnay? Then do not buy this wine. Vinified and aged exclusively in stainless steel, made in a reductive style, this Piemonte Chardonnay is brisk and clean, full of lemon zest and gunflint.

The De Forville's planted these Chardonnay vines 40 years ago. They wanted the occasional break from drinking Nebbiolo, especially in the warm, summer months.

In 1845 the Benedictines moved from Muri in Switzerland to Gries in South Tyrol, where the order took over the Augustinian monastery. In so doing, they inherited a long tradition of wine-growing, which they nurtured in a symbiosis of monastery, winery and estate that is still in evidence today. Their Lagrein is structured and sumptuous—pepper, licorice and dark tree fruits.

On the nose there are aromas of wild flowers, white peach, wild strawberry, herbs de Provence, tangerine, citrus zest, and hints of sea salt waft. On the palate there are flavors of tangerine, persimmon and freshly cut limes, with fresh floral nuances and rocky minerals on the finish. Crisp, dry and very refreshing.

Grown on Kimmeridgian limestone, this Sauvignon Blanc is often likened to Sancerre, but with a twist of Chablis, and it does show a chalky, mineral, slightly saline quality. It has the bright grapefruit, mint, gooseberry and kiwi of Sauvignon, but with a broader profile of tempered citrus, green pear, and soft mineral notes. A great fusion of intensity, depth, and finesse.

The Brunate is an absolutely terrific showing from Marco Marengo, which instantly impresses with its beautiful aromatics of blackberries and ripe cherries followed by sweet spices and spring floral. This beautifully polished Barolo is well defined and possesses a gorgeous silky texture with lovely finesse.

Intense yellow with greenish reflections. Deep scents of fruits, pear and banana. Our Viognier has a good sense of body and structure with an intense aroma with high notes of exotic fruits.
