The word “traditional” invariably gets used when Dupasquier’s wines come up in conversation. There are many reasons for this, one being that the wines see quite a long period of aging in old, neutral barrel and in bottle before release.

Girard's Sancerre is everything one hopes for when thinking about the region: it is bright, lively, pleasantly aromatic, has zippy acidity but low astringency. It is a wonderful food wine that is as versatile as it is easy to drink.

Graillot is a master of Crozes-Hermitage and applies his skillset to these rustic, old vines of the Thalvin vineyard on the sun-baked Atlantic coast. The grapes here are cooled by the coastal winds and the resulting product is youthful - fresh blue fruit and a dash of pepper over a grippy palate - while exuding the subtle balance of a more sophisticated and powerful wine.

The 2019 Petite Sirah is dark, inky, and dense, with layers of bramble berry fruit, touches of earth, and lovely floral tones interwoven with more savory notes of black pepper and cigar box spice, all supported by balanced oak integration. Perfectly drinkable upon release, but also has the depth and complexity to age for many years to come.

The 2020 Joel Gott Santa Barbara Pinot Noir has aromas of cherries and blackberries with notes of baking spices. On the palate, the wine opens with bright, fruit flavors, leading to a round mouthfeel on the mid-palate and soft, velvety tannins on a long, elegant finish.

A garnet color in the glass, this Bulgarian Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of vanilla, black plum and lavender. Flavors of black cherry and black raspberry unfold in the glass. The tannins are soft and well structured, with a pleasant astringency on the finish.

Made from 100% Gamza, a grape native to Bulgaria's Danube region. Beautiful, sparkling pale pink color. The nose is medium intensity and slightly spicy with notes of strawberry jam and hings of minerality. Round, sweet and smooth body with gentle acidity and a sweet strawberry finish.

A savory, spicy, silky blend of Garnacha Tintorera — known elsewhere as Alicante Bouschet, and unique in the fact that the pulp as well as the skin is deeply colored (most red grapes have pale flesh inside those inky skins) — and Moravia Agria, a rare grape with high acidity and low alcohol. This is a pure wine with a high-toned nose (flowers, red fruit) and a complex palate.

In addition to the grapes they grow on their own estate, the folks at Alta Marfa partner with regional growers that embrace organic and sustainable farming practices; in this bottle the grapes come from the Forbidden Desert Vineyard in New Mexico. An even split between Pinot and Chardonnay, this rosé is a Tangerine dream - a bona fide snack, indeed!

Vinifying grapes from the Crooked Post Vineyard on the Texas High Plains, the winemakers at Alta Marfa have created an alluring skin contact white (read: orange wine!) that exudes floral and jasmine tea-like aromas that carry on to a playful palate popping with notes of lemon and parmesan cheese.
