A blend of 14yr up to 20yr bourbons, the oldest Widow Jane currently has. The nose has notes of broken in leather, sassafras, birch beer and wintergreen. On the palate, there are notes of tobacco, vanilla, lemon, brown sugar cocoa powder and mint.

Winemaker Amélie Berthaut is helping to put the village of Fixin on the fine wine map. Taking over her father's domaine in 2013, she's earning a strong following among Burgundy fans. She practices far softer extraction than her father’s generation, and a shorter élévage, too. This makes for overall more approachable wines which still have that slightly wild temper of Fixin.

Spontaneous fermentation. Aged in Slavonian oak botti for one year followed by one year in concrete. Nero d'Avola gives body and depth and Frappato gives fresh fruitiness and a certain floral quality. It's brilliantly bright and lively in style, refreshing, satisfying and all round lovely wine.

This exceptionally rare native grape comes from 80-90 year old vines recovered in the wilds of a national bird sanctuary. Dry-farmed by the masterful Isabel Galindo, the grapes ferment with their indigenous yeast and spend 8 months aging in large used French oak barrels with battonage every full moon. Bright citrus peel with saline minerality and a hint of silky creaminess.

The nose offers notes of soot, cigar box, fresh herb, violet and blue fruit. Soft, plump, exquisitely balanced fruit flavors follow, sailing on the raspberry and herb-filled finish. Notes of Blueberry, forest floor, light earth. This unique vineyard is surrounded by cedar, mesquite and fossil-studded limestone.

Light, lemony, incredibly refreshing, with a bit of texture and complexity from the lees aging. Extended time on the lees adds subtlety, complexity and zippiness to the wine along with bright fruit (nectarine, zesty green apple!) and crisp acidity. Like all Muscadet, it pairs beautifully with oysters on the half shell, but it also goes well with fish of all sorts and veggies.
