After time spent working at Domaine de la Romanée Conti and Vega Sicilia–arguably two of the most significant wineries on planet– Jorgé Monzon bought abandoned vineyards near the Duero River with old vines too difficult for anyone else to want to work with. He makes silky, aromatic wines with a sleek blackberry juiciness and subtly integrated French oak nuances. New vintage, still gorgeous!

The wine is 100% Devín,  an eastern European grape bred from Gewurztraminer and shares its aromatic and tropical fruit notes. Finished in the bottle for a natural sparkle, no filtering is done and therefore the wine is hazy with sediment. Funky, bright lychee, white  grapefruit, and a lovely foamy fizz.

This saignée style wine presents itself with liveliness, freshness and juiciness in charming salmon colors and an attractive design. Lagrein, Pinot Noir and Merlot maintain their status at its core, with pronounced flavours of raspberries, strawberries and bright citrus notes, with fine texture and lovely finesse.

A thirst-quenching, spirit-lifting, and downright delicious white Burgundy that is never not the right bottle to open. The always inspired Valentin Montanet over-delivers with this unfussy, organically made Chardonnay.

A combination of oak and stainless-steel fermentation delivers the classic bright flavors of Washington State with the palate weight of a barrel fermented Chardonnay. Bright and lightly oaked it features notes of melon, Asian pear and star fruit, with hints of citrus zest and marzipan.

This sparkling red wine comes from a certified organic and dry farmed vineyard in Foxen Canyon.

This wine is red raspberry meets strawberry jolly rancher meets savory Mondeuse pepper meets summer time.

The bubbles are delicate and the wine is dry with a good amount of acid. Juice factor 1000. Serve chilled, serve room temp, it will all work for this fun wine.

This crunchy and fruit-driven Rioja is produced from Tempranillo (75%) and Garnacha (25%) grown on bush-trained vines in Spain’s Rioja Alta region. The wine is loaded with flavors of ripe red berries, citrus rind, and baking spice. Well-integrated oak and fine-grained tannins lead to a long-lasting finish. This bottle seriously overdelivers for the price.

This cuvée is one of the most complete representations of the complexity that can be found in the finest Volnays as it is from one of the great vineyards of that village. It has deep color, lots of material and is an aggressive wine with loads of character marked by minerality and notes of the “soubois”.

The wine, formerly known as Essence d’Automne, is mind-bendingly complex, with aromas of white pear, dried apricot, peach and green tea. The palate is rich and full with a silky texture and enough dry extract to offer good structure. The wine is surprisingly balanced for a late-harvest Viognier. Feature this wine as dessert rather than paired with dessert.
