It is the Valdadige hills in fair Verona where we lay the scene for the love affair with beautiful Pinot Grigio. Beguiled by the persistant, yet soft aromas of pear and tropical breeze, the drinker is sure to swoon over the elegant and velvety juice marked by tropical fruit and lifted with alpine acidity.

The 2020 Cherry Pie Tri-County Pinot Noir is concentrated with aromas of macerated cherries, cranberries and dark oolong tea. On the palate, this wine has brambly notes of mulberries, ripe Bing cherries with notes of baking spices and sweet toasty oak with a long, silky smooth finish.

The Weninger family has been making wine on the border of Austria and Hungary for over 200 years! This is one of Weninger's playful entry level wines that uses fruit from BOTH sides of the border. This savory and spicy light red has herbaceous aromatics and vibrant tart red fruit. Drink it chilled (but not ice cold) with anything from charcuterie to spicy asian food.

The volcanic soils of Mount Etna in Sicily are what drive the vibrant Blood Orange that makes up the heart of this digestive liqueur. Complimented with herbal components foraged from the volcano’s slopes this Amara is stunning on the rocks or in a Paper Plane or Diplomat cocktail. Pro-tip: This stuff blows triple-sec out of the water! Try with Mezcal.

This méthode traditionelle sparkling wine is made with Gamay and Mondeuse. As an Extra-Dry, it has an exceptional interplay between playful acidity and whispering sweetness that highlights both the beginning and the end of the meal (or throughout your picnic!). Compelling and fresh, this wine is redolent of bright grapefruit and red berries.

The first impression starts in the nose with intense blackberry fruit aromas, cola and cassis jam followed by a touch of vanilla and tobacco accented with hints of baking spice and red licorice. The wine is richly textured and balanced with a beautiful brightness. Flavors of black cherry, tobacco and sweet barrel spice shine throughout.

Aromas are reminiscent of the wines that used to be produced in the Vinho Verde region long ago, with yeasty, citrussy and nutty notes. The palate boasts outstanding acidity, a delicate mousse which renders it vibrant and some saline flavours on the finish. This is an intentionally uncomplicated wine: lightly shake the bottle before opening and enjoy with Salgados (snacks!)

After establishing J. Christopher winery, Jay Somers is launching out with this small run, exclusive project to show off wine's fun side! This year's vintage is supplied by Nicholas Family Vineyard (close neighbor to Maresh Vineyard) and the juice is Dundee from the first deep red fruit sip to the last forest-evoking savor. Yum!

When Johan Vineyards added a flock of groovy chickens to their biodynamic ecosystem, they did more than just adding nutrient health to the soils. The sight of those funky hens strutting through the vineyards inspired this take on a year-round refreshing Austrian winebar-style rosé. Don’t tell the Johan chickens what one of the best pairings for the wine is!
