This unusual domestic Gruner from Oregon comes from the biodynamic Johan Vineyards. Winemaker Morgan Beck mixes direct press juice with some macerated on the skins and then ferments with native yeast in oak barrels. The usually light and neutral Gruner grape here shows rich and exotic ripe baked apple and luscious fresh cut herbs. A stunner of a wine.

A murmuration is when hundreds or thousands of starlings form enormous shapes in the sky. This red blend from the biodynamic Johan Vineyards in Oregon is another collection that's greater than the sum of its parts, an expression of all that made 2021 in that corner of the Willamette Valley unique and special. Bright and lively, this is the perfect harvest wine with fall fare.

From a vineyard planted over tufo in Pitigliano, this is roughly half Sangiovese with the other half being a mix of Syrah and Merlot. It spent three weeks on skins, before being pressed off to vat to rest for six months. Plenty of red cherry, earth and bitter herbs, whilst remaining incredibly light on its feet.

Fermented with native yeast in a carbonic maceration style. After 7 months, the wine was bottled without fining or filtration. Bursts with juicy flavors and aromas of watermelon jolly rancher, macerated strawberry, and bubblegum. Exceptionally light and fruity.

An unmistakable dark crimson hue opens with aromatic blackberry jam, violets, chocolate covered blueberries and orange citrus. It's rare to find a Napa-blend that uses all five Bordeaux grapes, but this is it!

Pale pink color reminiscent of onion skin. Elegant fruit expression with notes of strawberry, grapefruit, watermelon, water pear and rose plus hints of petricor. Citrus notes complete the bouquet. Extremely dry, full-bodied with refreshing acidity. The vineyard is located in the coolest and westernmost part of the Casablanca Valley and is 18 km from the Pacific Ocean.

80-year-old vineyard planted on clay-loam soils in the Guadalupe Valley fermented whole cluster with partial carbonic maceration in concrete tinajas to POP the aromatics.

Nacho Gonzalez inherited the O Trancado vineyard from his grandmother. These very old, low-yielding (less than 1kg of fruit per plant!) vines set Nacho on his viticultural path. O Trancado is a fascinating wine: blossoming violets, kirsch, alpine, herbs and granitic spice overlaid on a supple, long, mineral palate.

Sourced from Domaine de la Côte estate vineyards 94%, and the remaining 6% from La Riconada Vineyard (Sta. Rita Hills AVA). 2021 Sandhi Pinot Noir 'Sta. Rita Hills' leads with crunchy red fruits of pomegranate, wild strawberry, and sun-warmed raspberry. The exuberantly fruited nose is undergirded with orange zest, black tea, tea rose, and faint hints of clove and spice.
