A light, laid back fruity red, rolling out intense notes of dark cherry and cranberry compote with subtle rose. It is fresh, but juicy and meaty with fine structure and soft balanced tannins. Packed with crushed black sour cherries, summer blackberries, dark raspberry. Much of Fruška Gora is a protected National Park, an area that directly borders the Bikicki vineyards.

The Casco Viejo Reposado Tequila is made in Jalisco by a family owned company, started by Don Jose Agustin Camarena in 1938. The company has been passed down through the family, ensuring respect for the spirit. This tequila is made from 100% agave grown on the third largest plantation in Mexico and traditionally baked before distillation. It spends up to a year in oak.

From a .75 hectares parcel in Meursault les Meix Chavaux borders Auxey-Duresses. Three equal plantings in 2001, 1988 and 1935. The vineyards are cooler and thus allowed to ripen longer on the vine. As a result, it gives the wine good focus, minerality and tension. Classic Meursault aromas of ripe apples, honey and hazelnuts.

The estate owns a prime 0.71ha parcel of 70-year vines that cuts across the “Les Drazey” and “Les Bussieres” vineyards in Chambolle-Musigny, just below the 1er Cru “Les Sentiers”. The finesse of this wine speaks of the Chambolle pedigree, though its ideal location and ancient vines produce a depth that elevates it to a level beyond what one would expect from a Villages.

Regnard is a south-facing site in the southern sector of Gevrey-Chambertin, and the Ligniers are in contract to access a parcel of Pinot Noir here between 40 and 70 years of age. This is a fresh, silken wine with intense minerality and marked tension—a wonderful counterpoint to the more somber “Les Seuvrées”—and its modest 20% new oak is all but invisible.
