Ruby red trending to garnet in color, the Merlot Filari della Rocca, has intense aromas of red and black berry fruits, currants, raspberries and black cherry. It is dry, structured, soft and harmonious.

Full-bodied, rich with ripe red fruits and spices are very strong from the oak aging. In the mouth, you can taste ripe, red fruits and pepper. The wine is very soft and tasty with an elegant finish that is also intense and persistent. Excellent on its own or paired with grilled meat dishes, stews, risottos and pasta.

Fontaleoni is a small estate with vineyards located 200 meters above sea level, the ideal altitude for growing the Vernaccia. The 2023 has aromatic intensity and is still very primary and undeveloped, combining power and good development of aromas and flavors with more finesse and elegance. It has 13.5% alcohol and a velvety texture; it went through full malolactic, which gives some creaminess, but it's neatly balanced by the granite minerality. The wine is still fresh and has longevity.

The 2022 Champs Gains from Bouzereau has a floral, racy delicacy. It has a piercing, slightly spicy intensity accompanied by a tenderness of fruit on the finish. Enticing, with intricate structure and superb definition.

This is the 2021 Bas de Chapelot with a different label. They missed 1 barrel when declaring the vintage to the Chablis board and were told they couldn't bottle it as Bas de Chapelot since they didn't do it the first time. It's the same steely, chalky and high lemon acid, wet stone juice as its more traditionally labelled cousin!
