Marc Colin is considered one of the best producers of Burgundy. From 50 and 60 year old vines, the Puligny-Montrachet le Trezin has a pronounced clarity on the nose: fresh lime and Granny Smith apples and a little lime/mineral. The taste is very well balanced with great acidity. Impressive density at the back given the hillside nature of the vineyard

The nose has classic bourbon flavors with notes of rye spices, caramel and vanilla. There’s some tart orange, a touch of cinnamon, and the occasional peanut note. The taste is fairly sweet at first, with simple syrup and light caramel. The flavors are rounded out by a bit of tang from orange citrus, black tea and mild char, with tannins and oak appearing later on.

The palate is rich with dark fruits & dusty minerality. It is structured with soft but firm tannins, elegant & beautifully balanced which gives it a great persistent finish. Great with a variety of foods!

Located near the town of Treiso and only three hectares in size, this is the smallest of La Spinetta's Barbaresco Crus. While Valeirano in general has the elegance of Gallina, it does not have the same full body. Instead, it amazes with minerality, giving the wine a unique identity, easily identifiable in a blind tasting with the other two Crus.

Nose of toasted barley, seed & nut loaf, chopped almonds and a little bit of barrel char. Hints of milk chocolate and dried grass bring sweetness. Fruit on the palate, but it's by no means a sweet whisky. Still rich, herbaceous and grassy, with a waft of smoke along the way. Enjoyable with orange peel and a touch of minerals.

From a small holding in Roddi, Ambrogio is the only Barolo site in the commune. It’s a cooler vineyard near the Tanaro river that captures Nebbiolo aromas like no other site. Bricco Ambrogio has an intense and multifaceted aromatic spectrum. The core is soft and polished through a beautiful acid-tannic balance. There is an underlying depth and the finish is long and nuanced.

Vintage after vintage this one of the most exciting Barolos made by one of Italy's greatest winemakers, Elio Altare. While not one of the most historic crus in La Morra, Elio's Arborina have become among the most prized wines of the region, and put the supple, fragrant qualities of the La Morra commune on display. They’re sensuous, rich, and age-worthy wines.

Ravera is the most important single vineyard in Comune di Novello. Very complex terroir where marls of Tortonian origin mix with clays and sandstones of the Serravallian period.
