Cherry cola! A wine that is equals parts intriguing and just juicy and delicious. Negroamaro brings that fennel, aniseed – liquorice allsorts feel – while the fruit profile is all black currants and boysenberry. A real gentle fizz this year – this is a Christmas morning special for the whole family.

The Black Label's brilliant color recalls the characteristic tones of the Pinot Noir, with glints of amber. It is lively in the flute, with a fine stream of persistent bubbles. Its fresh aromas combine the impression of vitality and spring-time scents, together with hints of toast and honey. On the palate, ripe fruits and citrus create a sensation of opulence yet lightness.

Jean-François, a master of his craft, one of the true magicians of the eclectic, creates between thirty-five and forty cuvées every year! La Colline des Dames “Ladies Hill” is Pinot Noir from Frauenberg in Alsace and then aged in Jura. Ripe strawberry with a hint of spice and a finely acidic, incredibly fresh juicey finish. IYKYK!

Arriving in Paris to teach English, Brendan caught the wine bug from a friend and soon found his way into working in a wine shop where some famous bottles littered the shelves, such as Guiberteau. You can feel it in the wines - the same sort of energy, limestone strike and purity of fruit of Chenin Blanc that Guiberteau possesses.

Wild Common Tequila Reposado is lightly aged in used bourbon barrels. This resting process yields notes of cooked agave, fresh roasted pecans, and raw honey. Building off the incredible foundation of the Tequila blanco, master distiller Salvador Rosales Trejo - aka “Chava”, has shown finesse and mastery in balancing these complex aromas and flavors.

The NV Brut Grand Cru is 100% Chardonnay from Avize, Oger and Cramant. Bright and sizzling in the glass, the Grand Cru captures the essence of the Cotes des Blancs in its chiseled personality. Citrus, floral, slate, and mineral notes lend vibrancy throughout. The 10 grams of dosage are not at all evident. Impressive.

The high proportion of Chardonnay and a minimum three-year aging process contribute to its consistent quality. It offers fine bubbles, a discreet foam, and an open, expressive nose with aromas of fruit, brioche, peach, white flowers, and vanilla. The palate is lively, fresh, and harmonious.

Rich dark fruits, spiced nose, undertones of coffee. Pair with dark chocolate, stuffed mushrooms, or charcuterie for afternoon pick-me-ups and winter hangouts. Vegan certified and gluten free.

The nose is slightly spicy, reminiscent a little bit of Meursault. On the palate, a nice depth and a nice richness of flavors, always balanced with incisive complexity and a nice balance of freshness. I was delighted with each of these wines. A nice surge of flavor to finish here too. This wine has an aging potential of 10-15 years.
