This is a red wine made by monks in an 11th-century monastery just south of the Bremmer Pass. Lagrein, a variety that yields wines of surprising depth and elegance, is a cool-climate cousin of Syrah that is indigenous to the Alto Adige. Textures of pure silk and ripe wild berry fruits, all guided by brisk acidity. It finishes with violet and lavender inner floral tones, juicy and mouth-watering, as a hint of blood orange resonates.

This chillable red is actually primarily made of white grapes, however the tannin-heavy red Baga lends more than its share of color to the wine. Wild red fruit and rose petals dominate the nose, while spiced red pear, plum, raspberry, bay leaf and white flowers build on the palate. Balanced, not overly juicy or acidic, this wine is begging to be enjoyed at your next happy hour!

This side project was started by Géraud after several incredibly small harvests in the Jura. He sources organic grapes from his friends in other regions and vinifies them into playful wines. This cuvée is made from Jacquère grown in Savoie on yellow marls. The grapes were whole cluster pressed into concrete egg for fermentation and a ten-month élevage.

100% Pinot Noir from Cesancey ( En Quatre Vis). whole cluster fermentation for eight days before being pressed off into neutral barrel for élevage.

Natives of the Jura, but from farming rather than winemaking backgrounds, Géraud and Pauline Fromont began this Domaine when they were in their mid-20s, and are ambitious, talented young winemakers. Rising stars, for sure!

Ananke is an intense and flamboyant ruby red colour. Characterized by an extremely intoxicating bouquet where the scents of marasca cherry prevail. A majestic red, with great juiciness and a gentle tannic texture that is well integrated into the body of the wine. Absolutely delicious!

The first taste is like biting into homemade peach pie, with its fruity sweetness balanced by strong malt flavors. As the taste develops, the cinnamon becomes more noticeable, adding gentle spice that smoothly transitions into a creamy, buttery finish. Riley’s Lookout jumps from the glass with extroverted aromas of gooseberries, white grapefruit, and cut grass.
