DiamAndes Perlita Chardonnay14.99Mendoza, Argentina

Matured in stainless steel vats to preserve all of its freshness and fruit. The Chardonnay grape is thus given full expression, offering a delicious fruitiness with notes of peaches, white pears and mango. The vineyard's altitude enables a good level of acidity to be maintained, resulting in tremendous freshness, which is highlighted by careful, precise maturing.

Domaine Bruno Clair La Dominode Premier Cru99.99Savigny Les Beaune100% Pinot Noir

La Dominode has been produced since 1979 and it has undoubtedly the most consistent vines of the Bruno Clair's domaine- always low yields and beautiful maturity of the grapes. The quality and the age of the vines contribute to this consistency. It is a wine that demands a few years of ageing. The old vines produce a rich and powerful wine that is not common in the Côte de Beaune.

2007 Turley Old Vine Zinfandel35.99

Turley Old Vines Zinfandel is composed of a variety of old sites from California that are either too small to be made into a vineyard designate wine, or are "new" to the Turley family (and way of farming). While they bring them up to speed as far as our rigorous farming practices go, in the mean time they make up the Old Vines blend. We found this 2007 in our basement recently and figured it had your name on it:)

Turley "Cedarman" Howell Mountain Zinfandel 201459.99

Dark, sweeping and totally voluptuous in the glass, the Cedarman offers compelling depth in its dark red and bluish fruits, new leather, menthol and spices, along with a host of savory notes that develop on the finish.

Turley Fredericks Vineyard Zinfandel 201445.99

Grapes for this wine are sourced from the certified organic vineyard, owned by Dick Fredericks, which was planted in 1937. Though technically within the Sonoma Valley appellation, the vineyard is actually located about 900 feet up along very steep contoured terraces. Turley feels lucky to work with this vineyard, as it is very rare to find hillside head-trained old vines.

Chateau Argadens ROUGE Bordeaux15.99Bordeaux Supérieur63% Merlot, 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc

The excellent terroir produces robust and soft fruited wines with concentration and balance. Argadens is one of the best Bordeaux Supérieur around, with lots of concentrated fruit and an attractive, supple balance. Not surprisingly, it gets consistently high marks in tastings and competitions.

A “natural” sparkling wine. With notes of tropical fruit, flinty minerality, apple skin and pear, lemon zest, and undeniable complexity.

Mayer Am Pfarrplatz Pinot Noir22.99Pinot Noir

An elegant crimson red wine with subtle black tea and tobacco aromas on the nose. Delicate and very velvety on the palate, a rounded finish, very flattering and elegant.

Coto de Hayas Centenaria16.99Campo de Borja, Spain100% Granache

Made from 100 year old garnacha vines. A powerful and concentrated wine with fine tannins and outstanding balance. A very tasty wine with a long and lively finish. Cellar it up to 4 years, but it is drinking brilliantly right now with grilled lamb chops or wild game.

1999 Pierre Morey Borgogne39.99

Pale straw. High toned nose of citrus and white flowers. Palate seems a little woody at first then peach fruit and good acidity. Just a little more mineral with medium length. Absolutely amazing considering the bottle age of this wine.

1998 Pierre Morey Saint-Aubin 1er cru Les Combes67.99

Pierre Morey is considered to be one of the finest winemakers in Burgundy, with a fine winemaking pedigree. Saint-Aubin is the colour of sunshine, with golden highlights whose exact shade varies according to where it is grown and in what year. Mayer am Pfarrplatz Pinot Noir22.99

Hints of smoke frame this very traditional, authentic Pinot made in time-honoured Austrian fashion. The balance and freshness of red fruit is borne in a very graceful structure and just cries out for food. Light bodied but with lovely depth.

Villa Chiopris Pinot Grigio14.99Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy

Medium-bodied with accentuated flavor of pear with good acidity and a fresh finish. Very ntense with scents of wildflowers and lime.

Clos Reginu Corse Calvi16.99Corsicaciacarello, Nielluccio, Syrah, Mourvedre, Grenache, Carignan

On a high, windswept granitic plateau near Monte Grossu (east of Calvi) known as E Prove, Michel Raoust vinifies some of the best wines from Corsica at low prices. Extreme diurnal temperature variation along with the influence of wind seems to create pronounced phenolics and sprightly acid retention. Supple, silken in texture, buoyant and infectiously bright, this brims with fresh strawberry and red raspberry, infused with rose hip, mint and red licorice. The persistent finish suggests horehound and licorice, yet is not as confectionary as that might suggest, the sweet fruit remaining refreshingly juicy...

Bodega Ruca Malen, Petit Verdot Reserva19.99Mendozqa

A nice deep, rich violet color. Almost opaque. Bouquet of lavender and dark berries. The forward palette is very soft with cassis type fruit. Green herbs, and sandalwood on the back end. The tannins are a bit grabby for a light texture. Some peppercorns on a lingering finish. The legs were very pretty and impressive. Paired with lamb pitas. Very enjoyable.

Manuel Manzaneque Suarez Canada 201320.99SpainTempranillo

Fresh raspberry and cherry on the fragrant nose. Fleshy and deep for the vintage, offering juicy red fruit and floral pastille flavors plus hints of vanilla and coconut. Bright and incisive on the gently tannic finish.

Domaine Chignard Julienas54.99Beaujolais, FranceGamay

So beautiful. Crushed pepper tart berries rustic and elegant all at once. Cédric picks his fruit by hand and practices a traditional Beaujolais vinification. These are excellent wines: clean and pure, occasionally Burgundy-like on the nose despite the traditional fermentation.

2012 Etienne Becheras Saint-Joseph34.99Northern RhoneSyrah

Are you a sucker for Stoney Syrah? Yep, me too. Love the graceful layers of crushed roses, rocks, rhubarb, and blue fruits in this wine.

Laurent Combier Crozes-Hermitage29.99Rhone ValleySyrah

This is one of my favorite expressions of Croze Hermitage I've tasted in some time. Lean and playful, there's no excess weight or heaviness on the palate. Instead, we're treated to a magnificent display of lavender, violets, black pepper spice and subtle bacon fat. It's a wine with the aromatic intensity cranked up to 10, but the drinkable remains extremely high too. Delicious!

Don Ramon 'Oak Aged' Uno Tinto Barrica10.49Campo De Borja75% Granacha 25% Tempranillo

Bright, immediate raspberry and strawberry aromas, with some black pepper; more of the same on the palate, adding black cherry, mint and earthy spices. Medium-bodied, with just enough tannins to match well with food.

Cambria Benchbreak Pinot Noir23.99

The Pinot Noir is deep, dark purple in color with abundant red fruit and dark berry aromas and flavors. The ever-present underlying earthy character compliments its solid tannin structure and long fruity finish.

Chateau Vieux Chevrol29.99Lande de Pomerol, Bordeaux80%Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon

Gutsy Bordeaux throws in the whole blackberry bush- plenty of fruit and vegetation. Lively acid. The vines have an average age of 30 years. Plowing is done four times a year to keep a balance in the vineyard and no chemicals are used to control weeds. Harvesting is done by hand and is carried out as late as possible to ensure full maturity of the grapes.

Kruger-Rumpf Estate Spatburgunder Rose16.99Nahe, GermanyPinot Noir

The Kruger-Rumpf winery was founded in 1790 and Stefan Rumpf began producing his own, estate wines rather than selling the juice off in bulk, as had been customary. Vineyards are farmed sustainably and care is taken during the hand harvesting to ensure that only optimally ripe grapes are picked, as Georg does not favor any botrytis. The wine is charming, dry and rose-like
