he fruit is grown on the top of Bald Peak in the Chehalem Mountains at 1250 feet elevation, hence we call this wine "Bergspitze" which means mountain top in German. 100% Alsatian Coury clones brought back in a suitcase by Charles Coury and planted in Oregon in 1965. This Pinot Noir is bright, electric, light in alcohol with fresh acidity and made for aging.

This mill sits on the border of Tuscany and Umbria. It is one of the tiniest mills in Italy and produces some of the most celebrated oil in the region. They have the D.O.P. which is guaranteed by the European Union as being produced in a area that produces olive oil with less than 1% acidity. Very little of the olive oil from this mill is sold outside of Italy and it is very rare to find it. It is mostly sold within Italy as Italians require very high levels of olive oil.
