The 2011 Sophia’s Cuvée is soft, round, supple and seductive, with cedary licorice and underbrush notes and lush black cherry and blackcurrant fruit. Drink it over the next 4-5 years.

This wine contains a lot of fat fruit on the palate, with very round, lovely tree-fruit flavors; it finishes with a pleasant bitter-almond note, typical for these type of wines. Peaches , pears and almonds caress the nose and palate. This is a beautifully interesting wine in which the oak is used to compliment the grapes elegantly yet effectively.

There's lots going on here, with a broad swath of brambly grip underneath ample layers of warmed fig, raspberry coulis and bitter plum compote. Enticing sweet tobacco, chestnut and bay notes fill in the background. Shows lots of range and character, and should cellar well. Best from 2017 through 2027.

This Sancerre white comes from exclusively hand-harvested limestone-clay vineyards in Chavignol, on the famous "Cote des Monts Damnés", so named by our ancestors because it was a very awkward slope to work. Intense and and highly aromatic. Full and round at the same time fresh and bright with nuances of pineapple and pepper.

Dense, characteristic ruby with crimson; intensive notes of herbs in the nose, purée of berries in the background; typical Burgunder structure, lively tannin, ripeness, juicy piquancy and elegance, substantially dry and still youthfully impetuous.

Our goal was an opulent, black fruit-driven style of Côtes du Rhône with density more akin to Châteauneuf-du-Pape, but while maintaining acidity, savory notes, and a chewy texture. All the fruit comes from spectacular hill top vineyards."

A beautiful blend of chardonnay and riesling create a wine of great complexity with excellent fruit profile. Each varietal is sourced from a single vineyard and aged in stainless steel, preserving the lighter tropical fruits and golden apples that shine thru.

Guy’s principal wine, the Morgon “Vieilles Vignes” is sourced from the Saint Joseph and Grand Cras subzones of the appellation, which give fine, stony wines. A high-lying sandy parcel contributes more complexity, structure, and acidity to the blend. Domaine Guy Breton was founded in 1935 and has consistently produced 90+ point wines from Morgon with organic farming.

This is a one-hectare vineyard planted to Nebbiolo in 1955 and provides a much more finessed side of this great Serralunga site rather than the power that is much more typical. Rose petal, lavender, mint, sweet red cherries, licorice and dried herbs are laced together in a feminine, gracious Barolo endowed with striking translucence and pure class.

A light golden in the glass. Cool yet rich aromas of golden apple, crushed mint and grilled nuts. On the palate, creamy, almost oily, with a faintly salty minerality and vibrant acidity leading to a mouthwatering finish suggesting flavours of peppery citrus fruits. 20% used oak. A superb value and great food wine.
