Undeniably an astounding wine, revealing both its aromatic and textural complexity. Toasted, reductive notes on the nose at first, followed by fresh notes of anise and herbs (tarragon, lemon verbena). Intellectual due to its extraordinarily diverse expression — combining alpine freshness, Provençal herbs, and stony definition — but also generous in the way these layers unfold.

Brilliant notes of warm spice, toasted bread, olive and licorice in its core of raspberry and black raspberry-driven bouquet. Ripe, textured and mouth filling, with medium to full-bodied richness and depth, it has solid mid-palate concentration, sweet tannin and a down right hard to resist profile. Drink this sexy Côte Rôtie over the coming decade.

Outstanding. A beautifully elegant, spicy and intensely floral nose exhibits notes of violets and rose petal along with primarily red berry fruit scents that are framed in a hint of wood. There is a lacy mouth feel yet fine intensity to the delineated middle weight flavors that exhibit plenty of backend minerality on the balanced, long and sophisticated finish.

Good dark reds, showing very good floral lift to the aromas of dark raspberry, licorice, mint and spices. Also considerably silkier in the mouth even if it's a bit youthfully compressed in the early going. The intense black cherry fruit carries well on the long, ripe, firmly tannic finish. One-third of this parcel was planted in 1999 and 2002, but the oldest vines date back to the late 1950s. This wine is much improved in the last few years as the younger plantings approach maturity, said régisseur François Duvivier, noting that very few vines at this estate pre-date World War II

Crafted from estate-grown Dijon clones, this outstanding effort offers sophisticated flavors of pear, quince, ginger and lemon curd, wrapped together in a buttered-nut finish. Barrel fermentation helps smooth the way into a beautifully balanced, ageworthy style.

The sole white wine of the estate is produced in the Roero district from an 0.80 hectare plot in Vezza d’Alba. Planted in 1980, the soil is essentially sandy in composition and sits on south-facing slopes. A beautiful focused palate of lemon, herbs and almond with a stony mineral finish and a silky smooth texture. 375 cases made annually.

Paul Pernot has run the domaine since 1955. They are one of the largest landowners in Puligny-Montrachet with 45 acres under vine. In any given year, the sell off 80% of their fruit keeping only the very best parcels for the domaine production. The 2022 Puligny-Montrachet Village has a crisp, stony, Granny Smith apple-scented bouquet and persistent minerality.

This is impressively balanced, respectably concentrated and beautifully structured. It is perhaps the best regular Assyrtiko that I have seen from Santo Wines. Bright, clear yellow color. Dry with a distinct aromas of citrus and flowers, combined with hints of smoke and minerals from the volcanic soil. Full-bodied, well-balanced with intense flavors and long finish.

Very deep and intense purple. Οn the nose it is dense, concentrated and complicated but elegant. Aromas of ripe fruit such as blackberries and black raspberries coupled with spicy characteristics, smoke and a touch of leather. Silky but powerful, framed by delicate tannins and gentle acidity offering flavors of ripe fruits, cloves, black pepper and just a touch of herbs.
