Bitter-sweet aromas of crystalised orange peel, ginger and cream, with hints of almond blossoms. The palate is rich and perfumed with flavors of peaches, pineapples and mangoes. Delicious with Thai food!

A big, powerful wine, the 2012 Barbaresco hits the palate with surprising depth allied to nervous tannins that are going to need time to soften. Tobacco, smoke, licorice, menthol, game and a host of dark, ferrous notes give the wine much of its virile personality. The 2012 is not as finessed as some recent vintages, yet it offers considerable potential for the future.

Concentrated nose of oyster shell, peach and citrus with a touch of fennel. Palate is pure and bright, gorgeous ripe citrus fruit with excellent weight and length. Allen Meadows of Burghound says, “I find Moreau to be one of the most exciting young growers in Chablis and his wines are well worth the trouble to get to know if you haven't yet tried them.”

Hartley-Ostini Hitching Post wines are made by Buellton Hitching Post owner/chef Frank Ostini and his good friend, former fisherman Gray Hartley. Hometown is an early bottling of our Santa Barbara cuvee and showcases the delicious fruit of young Pinot Noir. This three valley blend is made from grapes sourced from vineyards near Los Alamos, Santa Maria and Sta. Rita Hills.

The wine has ripe, red fruit aromas and spicy notes, with round, soft tannins and a lively mouthfeel. This wine pairs well with grilled pork tenderloin, lamb and veal with fresh herbs.

This can only be described as BRILLIANT Rosé. The nose is pure Pinot Noir, the complexity on the palate sings of Burgundy, and the finish is long and fine. If you have never had the pleasure of tasting a rose from Bruno Clair, the acknowledged master of rose in Burgundy, do yourself a favor and get some of this. Never heavy, but full of substance, and extremely versatile.

'Fleur de Pinot' is a very special rosé with the appearance of great white wine. Sylvain Pataille, brimming with ideas, decided in 2002 to create a rosé, both powerful and aerial, greedy and well-structured. For this cuvée, he selected the most beautiful red grapes from the locality 'La Charme aux Prêtres'. The elevage is very long, in barrels some of which are new.

An original formula vermouth crafted with botanical resins of antiquity. These “Sacred Resins” were used as perfumes in rituals from birth to burial, prescribed medicinally both internally & externally, and were among the most valuable commodities dominating the ancient trade routes of South Asia and China. Light, citrusy and distinctly aromatic.

Hyped up perfume. Rose water, lipstick, red currants, black pepper, violets. The juice spent 85 days on skins with frequent pigeage. After the ferment ceased, it was basket pressed to neutral barrels for 4 months of aging. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal SO2.

Pungent aromas of nectarine, yellow plum and white flowers. Ripe, fleshy and expansive, with fresh pit fruit flavors, a note of bitter lemon pith and a touch of youthful spritz. Very refreshing chenin blanc with good finishing cut and lingering spiciness. Very unique as only 125 cases were made.

Evenly hued, and vermillion in color, this wine has aromas of ripe plum and black current fruits with a fresh cut alfalfa aspect in the background. On the palate, the wine offers a juicy wash of dark and plummy fruit flavors that include black cherry and sassafras. Additional layers of espresso, fresh garden soil, and cola add multiple dimensions to the wine. Ample acidity and tannin structure gives firm boundaries to the fruit.

Fresh red and dark berries on the pungent, highly perfumed nose. Excellent clarity and spicy lift to the sweet black raspberry and floral pastille flavors; a hint of succulent herbs comes up slowly. Appealingly sweet and minerally on the floral-tinged, extremely long finish, which is firmed by fine-grained, gently gripping tannin. Biodynamic farming techniques and unfiltered.
