On the east slope of the Eoal-Amity bills sits a crazy, steep, rocky vineyard called Dubay. This epic little vineyard is farmed by a great friend and vineyard whisperer, Ryan Hannaford. He has to use a crawler to spray and do tractor work, but nothing great is ever easy. We get one acre block from this site, which yields somewhere around 1.6 tons in 2014. The wine is NUTTY GOOD

Warm aromas of baked red cherry and caramel grow more complex due to a gravelly minerality and hints of peppercorns on the nose of this bottling by Ian Brand. The palate leads with oregano and pepper, those spices overwhelming the fruit, and the rocky minerality continues, leading into a cocoa-laced finish. It is a lithe and lively style of Cab.

The Grapes come from vines over 70 years old, planted on hillsides at an altitude of 200 to 240 metres. The plot is named “the queen” and is characterised by its calcareous clay soils. Although the wine is mature, it also has freshness that comes through strongly as aromatic and yellow-fruit driven. The acidity is intense, full of character while fruitiness continues right to the end.

The 2014 Petite Sirah Lytton Estate is outstanding. Deep, luscious and intense, but with none of the aggressiveness Petite so often presents, the 2014 is utterly captivating from the very first taste. Dark red and blue-hued stone fruits, mint, spices and licorice are front and center. The purity of the fruit here is simply remarkable. This is a tremendous wine. Don't miss it!

Aromas of ricot, Lemon Meringue and Honey Suckle. Stonefruit and pie crust with medium weight on the palate and nice viscosity. Then notes of crème brulee that is wide on the tongue and builds to a lingering finish with balanced acid of lemon meringue. 80% FRENCH, 20% AMERICAN, 10% NEW OAK

Layers of dried flowers and baking spice give way to savory salinity. Slightly dry and medium-bodied. Clean and focused on the finish to accentuate its rice-like qualities. Faint aromas of raisins and earthiness with a gentle sweetness beneath.

"Secano" means Dry Farmed. No irrigation is used to produce this wine. Water only comes from the rain the vineyard receives during winter. Rich, ripe and well-crafted, with concentrated flavors of blueberry, dark plum and blackberry, loaded with plenty of Asian spice notes. The plush finish lingers with raspberry and chocolate accents. *Unfiltered* Only 30 cases imported.

Suigei means "Drunken Whale". Kochi faces south to the Pacific Ocean where the black current flows and whales thrive. This is a serious sake- made with heavy mineral water, it is dry and smooth. Fennel, hops, hint of rose on the nose.

Sourced from Laurence Féraud’s 100+ acre estate in Sorgues, just 4 miles south of Châteauneuf‐du‐Pape, Pink Pegau boasts an outsized popularity and ardent following in the marketplace. Crisp and aromatic (and a bit cheeky), this bone-dry rosé is loaded with character and offers immense enjoyment both on its own and at the table.

This wine has an intense aroma of ripe fruit with hints of apple, tropical fruits and citrus that summarize the characteristics of the grape. In the mouth it is round, with pleasant acidity that balances well with the structure. A harmonious wine with good persistence. It pairs with white meats and grilled fish.

Undoubtedly one of the top vintages of this wine, the 2016 Chateauneuf du Pape La Crau features classy notes of crushed stones and black tea to go along with ripe raspberries and black cherries. Full-bodied yet silky, there's more power and richness in La Crau than in Piedlong, yet there's commensurate elegance and finesse. The wine grows in intensity on the finish without ever seeming heavy or overripe, instead offering hints of tea and licorice.
