Lieu Dit is a collaboration between Eric Railsback & Justin Willett. Their primary focus is grape varieties from the Loire Valley grown in Santa Barbara County. They feel the climate & terroir of the area is well-suited to these grapes. Fresh, crisp, & intense. Loads of citrus & crushed rock, w/ excellent tension & acidity. Pair w/ raw oysters & fresh lemon or steamed clams.

The 2012 Montefalco Rosso opens with rich and brilliant ruby red color in the glass. Sensationally intense, with notes of ripe red fruit and delicate hints of vanilla. Full bodied, rich, dry with a long finish. This is very aromatic with dried-berry, mineral and floral character. Full body with firm tannins and a juicy finish. Lots of tannins but polished and chewy.

This Pinot Noir has a highly concentrated, dark ruby core with pink and garnet reflections on the rim. The nose expresses classic notes of young Burgundy including aromatics of freshly picked red cherry, red and black plum, wet violets, forest floor, steeped black tea, leather, wet cellar, damp clay and subtle baking spices in the distance.

This deep garnet Kosher blend of 55% Rubin and 45% Merlot is scented with black plum, blackberry and freshly ground black pepper. It flavors are those of dried cranberries and tart cherry. It has balanced tannins with a pleasantly tart finish.

Its generous taste, harmonious structure and long finish makes it the perfect rosé to drink with friends all day long!

The predominating aromas are complex: red and white fruit associated with floral notes. With time, these fruity aromas will evolve toward more mellow notes with a touch of spice and stone fruits, and the color will take on amber tints. As of its first year, it disposes of all the necessary aromas to be appreciated, but it also has an exceptional ageing potential.

Lot 444 explodes with bright cherry & acacia flower & quickly opens up to reveal a core of spicy cherry pie, blackberry jam, & toasty oak, with top notes of graphite & wet stone. Soft and simple in red fruit, dried herb, spicy clove and milk chocolate, this is a generously full-bodied, ripe and lush wine. The tannins are gregariously ingrained and demanding of attention.

Aromas of black cherry, toasted almonds and chocolate notes are highlighted by the mild tannins and subtle oak aging.
A small blend of Merlot contributes to a smooth, soft finish and round berry finesse.

Cristian Allamand is one of those few winemakers making wines with a different personality, a sense of place, wines that are respectful of their origin. This is 100% Malbec from high altitude vineyards in the Valle de Uco. Fermented in stainless steel. Aged mostly in stainless, with 5% aged in first and second year French oak barrique.

While most of the Cabernet Sauvignon in Mendoza is planted in the High Mendoza River region, this comes from the Valle de Uco region. The cooler climate enables Luminis to achieve grapes with good acidity, proper maturity and great expression of fruit. Only about 5% of the wine goes through new French oak for 12 months. This is an elegant, lighter style Cabernet Sauvignon.

A beautiful belnd of Petit Verdot and Malbec, handpicked from bushvines. There are aromas of black cherry and plum. There is raspberry and white pepper on the palate, enhanced by a soft, silky texture, lifted by fresh acidity.
