This is one of those aroma-driven wines that you fall in love with when you smell, and then surprises you on the pallet (in a great way). Nose is rich: dried tart cherry, berry jam, wet stone. The wine was made with very little extraction to bring out the unique characters of the site & variety. As with all of our wines, only native yeasts were used & the addition of sulfites occurred post fermentation & pre-bottling. Only 10.9% alcohol. A little funk on the nose blows off quickly, giving way to cherries and spice. The palate is lean & bright, with very light tannins and a finish that refreshes.

Isabelle and Michel Dietrich brought their wine talents from Alsace, Champagne, and Adelaide to this estate. The result is a wine that is deliciously crisp and perfumed. With its bright acidity, grapefruit and orange flavors and hint of minerality, it is balanced and ready to drink. The fresh aftertaste continues the immediately accessible character of the wine

Impressive body (Pinot Gris reminiscent) while still sporting classic Chenin acid. White tea, pear drop, peach, starfruit, and touches of salt-water rocks. Dry style. Lovely lingering finish.

Wonderful 25 year-old estate vines; incredible price/quality; sustainably farmed. Offers black currant fruit and licorice with hints of toasted oak... it has a full mouth feel, good balance, round tannins, and a persistent finish.

Many new brewers have been rushing their sours into the market, this one smells and tastes like a beer that's been given proper time to mature. Pours with a true nut-brown haze, thin lace, silky mouthfeel, the scent is reminiscent of autumn leaves and leather, sip delivers upfront fruit that mellows into strong but not overpowering tartness.

Pours nearly black with some mahogany around the edges, and a medium tan head that recedes steadily to a wispy film. Citrus, malt, cinnamon and yeast in the nose. Medium body with flavors of tart lemon, roast malt, charred oak, cinnamon and yeast. The finish is oaky with a sour lemon and malt aftertaste.

Such an unique beer. Starts off tasting like a real good sour and as you finish your mouthful, the aftertaste fills your mouth with Hazelnut.

Notes of dark fruit, cherry, and raspberry. The palate opens with sweet fruit, predominantly raspberry and cherry. More than even earthy or clean, the sour has the character of ripe fermenting fruit. Mouthfeel is medium with subtle carbonation.

Nose is a standard porter base of some darker roast and chocolate malts, some dark fruit, and leather. Taste is dry, not sour, but with a rustic earthy quality to the flavor which includes some cocoa, leather, dark, brambly fruit and seeds (though nothing I’d call out as blackberry). Solid and interesting beer.

Starts with sweet milk sugar and chocolate flavor with a rich, creamy mouthfeel that is quite smooth. Finishes smooth with roasted malt and coffee flavors coming to the fore front with a touch of vanilla at the very end.

“Rioja Corriente” is an expression from the turn of the century, referring to a pure, unclassified wine meant for everyday drinking. Bush vines in the cool Lanciego zone within Rioja Alavesa on flat shallow soils that are stony, calcareous, and low in nutrients. With some rusticity and character, mixing berries and hints of orange peel, just a pinch of spices.

Noblaie's rosé is produced from younger Cabernet Franc vines, which are planted in the deeper soils at the base of the hillside vineyard. It has a clear and smooth pink color, deep, rich aromas of watermelon and cranberry and loads of lovely fresh red fruits on the palate. Nate's favorite of 2015 and it is still drinking beautifully!
