The tiny French town of Cerdon is very close to the Swiss border in a little-known VDQS called Bugey. The wine is sparkling rosé, but not just any sparkling rosé. Made from gamay and the local poulsard, it is a delicately sweet, low-alcohol, strawberry colored wine that is yummy with chocolate-based desserts but also ideal as an early evening aperitif. Treat yourself!

Heirloom apple cider made with red currant and lightly dosed with ice cider. It is just off-dry and gently fizzy, with bright acidity and chewy tannic structure. A perfectly refreshing summer sipper! This semi-dry tannic rose cider is fermented with red currant juice and slightly sweetened.

Manages to be both sweet and nervy, and finishes with very good thrust and lingering raspberry and strawberry notes. This would be great with stinky washed-rind or blue cheeses.

This wine is crazy. Wild, weird and wonderfully drinkable. No sulfites added and biodynamically farmed.

The wine has aromas of white flowers and some citric notes. There is a medium body palate with good freshness, containing the glycerin and unctuous part of the variety and showing the saline minerality of the granite and the classical bitter finish of the variety. The variety has enough power to not need any stirring of the lees. Balancing low alcohol with ripe grapes is key.

Wild berry, leather, tobacco, tilled earth, aromatic herb and floral aromas meld together on this impressive red. The full-bodied structured palate delivers black cherry marinated in spirits, dried plum, chocolate and licorice alongside a backbone of firm velvety tannins.

Bright and lively, this balanced rosé offers pretty watermelon, apple and cherry notes, with a light, tangy finish.
