It smells the way a beautiful tequila should smell: lots and lots of agave, with a twist of citrus. Taste is sweet roasted agave, light citrus, a touch of herb, and just the faintest hint of wood. Plenty big and spicy going down, with a terrific aftertaste of pepper, agave, and a whisper of of smokiness, just to ensure you're drinking a repo.

The nose brings a slight smoked char and peanut-shell aroma with some vanilla maple and spiced barrel notes. The aroma is still bright with scents of the agave. On the palate, there's a nice depth to the spice with a touch of a tobacco and leather and has a sweet, rich taste. The finish brings some pleasant peppery and bitter notes, but does finish on the sweet side.

As with the nose, the oak here is fairly restrained and it adds more of a tannic, drying quality to this tequila over spice. Towards the end of the midpalate the white pepper increases in intensity, but it never gets too spicy or aggressive. The white pepper spice drives the finish which is medium, light, and ends clean.

The 2016 Mohua Sauvignon Blanc begins with aromatics of grapefruit blossom, kumquat, unripe melon and suggestions of starfruit. There are vibrant flavors of kiwi, starfruit, and gooseberry. This is a solid effort from this estate as well as an excellent value.

This shows fabulous stone, dried apple and honey aromas that follow through to a full body, with fantastic focus and energy. Great acidity at the finish. Wow. The depth and length are incredible.

A brilliant ruby red Color with yellow-crowned nuances during the aging. Its smell owns an elegant, floral and fruited bouquet, with scents of violet, red currant, followed by jam’, vanilla’ and tobacco’s aroma. Furthermore, its taste is pleasantly dry, warm and soft, in addition to a great freshness.

Dominated by reductive notes at first but is a beaut after a few hours open. Runs the gamut from green apple to biscuits and everything in between. Has good width but with great acid.

Simple, fresh, clean, easy drinking: one of the wines that evokes this land at first taste. Made from 1 hectare, this Dolcetto is vinified in stainless steel fermentation tank and 3 days maceration.

Fourchaume is one of the best-known premiers crus of Chablis. The poor soils on this well-exposed slope, scattered with chunks of Kimmeridgien limestone, put stress on the vine, causing it to plunge its roots deep in search of nutrients. Concentration, power, and plenty of flesh on the bones are Fourchaume’s hallmarks, with generous Chardonnay fruit coating an unapologetically stony spine.

Subtle notes of butter.

This wine is a brilliant green-straw color and has tropical freshness. The aroma is reminiscent of lemon-lime, white peach, green apple, kiwi and lemon grass. The flavors are nicely balanced with citrus, melon and green apple. With great body, there is a great balance of fruit and brightness in this wine, which culminates in a long clean finish. Enjoy.

Equal parts Grenache and Syrah from Scorched Earth Vineyard. The site is located on the banks of the Columbia in the warmer, more desert influenced, eastern side of the Gorge. The wine was tread gently by foot with 50% whole clusters and pressed after 20 days on the skins. It was aged in older puncheons.
